I recently moved into my home in Kent and needed to replace the old boiler in situ. I researched a few companies in the internet and after reading a number of good reviews of Sam Palmer plumbing and heating on checkatead emailed them to arrange for a quote to be arranged. They contacted me the very same day and the communication with Sam was very polite. He asked us what I was looking to do and he said he could absolutely help and arranged to visit my property. At the visit Sam turned up punctually and came in. He checked all the measurements looked round and checked all aspects that needed to be checked. He then went through all the options very comprehensively in a very friendly and helpful manner. He inspired a lot of confidence that they were very capable of doing what was required. When I compared the quotes Sam was very competitive plus with the confidence I felt in him I commissioned him to do the full boiler replacement I needed.A week later the gas engineer turned up on time and started the work. The engineer Scott was extremely hard working, with great attention to detail and explained everything he was doing. He kept the house extremely clean and was very friendly and helpful. His work ethic was second to none and the job was complete within the 2 days they said they needed. I was delighted with the quality of work the product provided and the after service they have provided as been excellent. Sam Palmer heating and plumbing did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing and heating jobs. I am so impressed I have moved forward my plans to redo our bathroom with Sam Palmer heating and plumbing. Definitely a five star service.

His team is friendly and trustworthy and did everything on time and when they said they would. I used Sam to change the layout and install new bathroom furniture into my ensuite. Sam was prompt to come and quote for the work and his assistant Zoe was able to answer a lot of my questions for me. We had Micheal come to do the work who spent three days in a small, hot space completing the work. He was incredibly helpful, tidy and consulted me on all questions. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I've even hired them to do more work with a change in boiler booked in for August.

We are so pleased that we discovered Sam Palmer Plumbing. For the last 4 years we have struggled with a cold house, and cold bathrooms, where the majority of the radiators preferred to stay cold in spite of the many failed attempts by our original boiler supplier to fix the issue (for which we were always charged).Sam came to assess the situation and immediately saw what the problem was namely that we had been sold a 30Kw system boiler which was simply not capable of heating our 28 radiator house. Additionally we had been told that we needed an auxiliary pump to circulate the water because the pump within the 30Kw boiler was insufficiently powerful. Unfortunately the original engineer fitted this auxiliary pump to the ‘return’ pipe rather than the ‘flow’ pipe with the result that our heating system became even worse with only a quarter of the radiators working.Sam recommended we install a ‘regular’ 42Kw boiler whilst keeping our auxiliary pump but ensuring it was connected to the right pipe.Our system is now working well. Sam’s diagnosis was correct.One of his engineers, Toby, removed our old (less than 4 years old!) boiler and installed a new Bosch Worcester 42Kw boiler, his work was quick and tidy and he was always polite and helpful.The work was done on schedule and the invoice was exactly as originally quoted for.These guys are good and know what they are doing.

Toby did an excellent job, recommending a valiant boiler for our house, he arrived on time and was very professional throughout.The boiler change took a day, and Toby left us with a clean utility room and a working boiler. He even made sure that the brick needed to fill the gap left by the smaller vent matched the brickwork of the house.I’d happily recommend Toby and Sam palmer plumbing.

We had a new gas central heating system installed by Sam Palmer Plumbing and they did an excellent job. The work was carried out professionally, on time, and with excellent customer service. The system works wonderfully. So much so that we've used SPP for other plumbing work since. Highly recommended.
