Great pies, best I’ve had for a long time. Their “fat rascal”, can’t remember what they call it, is better than the real deal

Earl Grey and Vanilla Slice, an unbeatable combo in this super village cafe and shop. Seems a busy place so they must be doing something right!

Really need to improve their gluten free range. They have a huge range of pastries, scotch eggs (which are supposed to be very nice) and other savory items, but nothing coeliac friendly. And the coffee was served way too hot - scalded the roof of my mouth. But the bakewell tart I had was ok.

What a delightful visit. A lovely autumn day brought us out to Terrington for a really pleasant trip to the tea room. A well stocked village store with takeaway sandwiches, pizza, bread, groceries etc. The tea room is attached to the shop with a few tables but with more tables outside. A selection of breakfasts (served til 11.30), soup, sandwiches and massive portions of cake. Afternoon tea can be served for £9.50. As this establishment is small you can reserve a table as it does get very busy, particularly at weekends. Nice clean toilets as well. The pricing is not cheap but when you get the food it's definitely worth it. A pure gem!!

Some come here looking for a top notch cream tea. The scones are cold and come from a bag. To be fair the cream was delicious but it was served in a cardboard container, and the coffee is average at best. Some nice local produce to be bought if that's what you're after though

Called in today, I had ploughmans lunch-good value & tasty. My other half had Toastie which she enjoyed. Bought a 'fat rascal' type cake to take away, very tasty & moist. All in All a lovely place with lovely staff.

Wonderful stop when cycling in the Howardian Hills. Friendly staff, great coffee, and a fantastic range of cakes and savouries. Just what you need.

I’ve just had 2x cheese and tomato paninis for the 2nd time in 4 weeks. Absolutely 100% delicious. I’d say best toasties in England for sure. Well done. The shop has so many cool things too.
