Went with a tour group and only had an hour to spend. Not enough time to explore all the history! The highlight is the Crown Jewels which are fabulous and overwhelming. Unbelievable how many diamonds encrust each piece. Would like to know how heavy the swords are!

Fascinating history, guided tours are amazing and definitely worth while so you can learn more about what you are looking at. Lots of information around the tower though. Make sure you look at the map so you don't miss any sections as it can get quite confusing as to where you've been. The gift shop is full of lovely souvenirs.

A great place to come and and explore some of the history of London. Came here on a flying visit so didn't get a lot of time for a detailed visit although I would highly recommend. There's lots of interesting facts as you work your way around the map given to you as well you order yours tickets at the office. The crown jewels is another area definitely worth a visit although no photos are allowed to be taken here. Will definitely come back again for a more detailed visit.

A great day out. Its worth getting there for opening and going straight to see the Crown jewels. That way there will be minimal queues and you may get to spend longer in the crowns room than you would later on.The rest of the Tower is great and an amazing deep dive in the English history. You really should go at least once in your life.If you do everything it’s easily a whole day.

At 10 am you have tour at the entrance. The lady will explain the history of the tower. They are very experienced and represent one of the oldest gaurd group in the world. They need to be in the army for 22 years before they grant them this job! Amazing!Part of London pass.

A must-see while in London. Purchase your tickets online in advance. Otherwise, stand in line to purchase and then queue again to enter. The Crown Jewels are magnificent and will be a 3rd queue to stand in. The rest of the site is a self paced tour. There are some really narrow and steep spiral staircases to climb if you wish to see the cell/jail where the traitors and the 2 princes were kept. The stairway up to the two princes is very narrow with a low ceiling, and you can not see to the top. If you are claustrophobic or prone to panic, then you should avoid this climb because you will have to crawl climb the stairs and you cannot go back down once you start since it is one way and people will be climbing behind you. The ravens are great to see, so don't miss them. There is a changing of the guard every 30 minutes at the crown jewel exhibit. There is no parking, so Uber, taxi, or we used Golden Tours hop on/off bus to get to all the major sites. Great place to take the kids. It's a little more challenging if you have limited mobility or handicap. Easy walk from here to the Tower Bridge, and a 15 min walk to Borough Market.

A beautiful day out, I do not advise for people with mobility issues because of the narrow passages and the steep stairs.... But is a beautiful journey in English history... Crude at times. The crown jewel are just one of a kind.... And more accessible.. If you have a day off and don't know what to do, the ticket is worth the money.

Absolutely amazing! Loved every second of being there. So many things you can see and a huge amount of history in one place. The yeoman warders are so friendly and have such amazing knowledge of the tower.
