Thursday night in Mixology, Vi has been absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for her adjusting the drinks to our exact spec., a little quiet but no complaints at all, thank you Vi for a great night

Went in when quiet but bar staff were hospitable, friendly and lovely! Came in during a little mini honeymoon break and felt really catered to :)

Music too loud. Miserable manager. Shocking cocktails. Pass this place every day and always thought I need to give it a try. We were the only people in, but all the surrounding pubs and bars were packed (first red flag) Took some time to look over the menu and we both went for the 2 for £10 cocktails. I asked if he could do a Black Russian as apposed to the White Russian on the menu...I was then asked for the ingredients (2nd red flag). My partner had the berry Mai Tai. We also had two shots at £2.50 each, good price. When it came to pay I was handed the card reader for the amount of £18.80. when I questioned why it wasn't £15, I got a grunt and was told it had to be 2 of the same cocktail, no where on the menu does it state any of this or any T&C for the 2 for £10 deal. Reluctantly he charged me £15 and we sat down. The balance was off in the Black Russian, and too much lemon in the Berry Mai Tai. For a cocktail bar, with such a name too, you expect decent cocktails, and a bar man to know his mixology and serve a perfect cocktail every time. We gave up trying to have a conversation over the music and left.

Went in for a couple of cocktails on Friday evening. We were met by Vi who was hospitable and looked after us well during the night at the bar. I’d highly recommend coming to this vibey and bar which is nothing but an enjoyable place to be in!! Will be back x

Had a little visit to Durham and was going to pop in for one, ended up staying most the night, good cocktails, the shots were very good and the owner was a good guy, overall just a good atmosphere. Definitely a place to visit.
