A very young crowd in here which I guess is to be expected. Disco played good music and although a young crown they all seemed on good form. It is very busy. Drinks selection is decent too.

We thought we'd pop in for a few drinks after trekking around Edinburgh. App didn't have half the menu showing. Went to the bar to order drinks and the barmen seemed unable to understand anything we asked for. Not many options available for diabetics and charged 50p for warm tap water! Needless to say we left after 1 drink. Such a shame as the place looks so nice and inviting

It was ok but I wouldn't recommend it or come back. As other commenters say the shower situation is a mess and it seems that this issue isn't resolved any time soon. Some of the showers that work" are still a mess and only operate while an extremely hard to press button is pressed constantly

Despite not being able to accommodate us in the outside terrace on a lovely sunny day, staff were very helpful in getting us a seat inside.Lovely inside area and good quick service. Only had drinks but really can’t complain here! Would visit again!

Horrible customer service, they changed us 1.5x the price of our bill and when we questioned it they made us feel bad about it and took 15+ minutes to work out a refund. They were incredibly rude. Won’t be returning.

Overall, this place is average. The food is decent without being great, the service is ok and it's in a good location between Cowgate and Grassmarket. The outside seating area has a very nice vibe and is probably the highlight.

Stunning view of Edinburgh Castle from our table on the patio but the food came out questionably fast for two burgers. Plus we were allowed to order food from the bar attendant but not drinks, those we had to order online. Just pick an ordering method and stick with it, this made no sense. We got our burgers before we got our beer. Nothing to write home about here but the view (it's a hostel).
