Stornoway Bed & Breakfast

Rachel and Graham were the perfect hosts. Communication was brilliant from the start and Rachel looked after us from the moment we walked through the door. The accommodation was lovely and to a very high standard and the place had a very warm, cosy feel. We felt at home, straight away. The location was ideal too, as we had easy access to everything we needed or wanted to do in Stornoway. There was also plenty of parking either on the road just outside the front door or in a car park very close by. The breakfasts also deserve a special mention - they were plentiful and delicious! All round, a fantastic place to stay with very considerate, helpful hosts. We'd definitely recommend them!

Would give ten stars if we could. Fantastic stay in the self catering apartment in the Stables with very good breakfast at no 29. Warm welcome. Very good facilities. Lovely bedroom. We are regular visitors to Stornoway and hope to be able to stay here again. Very highly recommended.

Highly Recommended. Immaculately clean, fluffy white towels and comfy bed. Super breakfast in a good location. Welcoming hosts - I would definitely come again.

Great accommodation, great service, great breakfast and most of all friendly staff. While we were there we suffered a puncture in the middle of nowhere. We phoned Graham at the B&B who immediately contacted a friend who ran a garage who was able to supply and fit a new tyre. Rachel who runs the B&B couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend.

This was a great stay in Stornoway for a few days, Feb 2023. The staff are friendly and helpful, room was great, and shower fantastic (maybe it was a power shower"). Everything clean

The room was extremely well presented, beds comfortable and shower and toilet spotless. There was a secure shed for pedal cycles to be put.Plenty of facilities for tea, coffee making etc around.Were welcomed by Rachel who was very helpful and a pleasure to meet. She contacted me during the day to find our arrival time, which is a nice touch.Although we couldn't sample the cooked breakfast as we were catching the early ferry, there was plenty of cereal, bread etc for a good breakfast.People self catering have a good kitchen in which to cook.

Definitely love this place. The room & toilet were clean; the bed sheet was also hypoallergenic. The facilities were just what we needed. Delicious breakfast. The decorations were unique. The atmosphere was peaceful and very cosy. Very kind and friendly owners. Strategic location - close to amenities. We will absolutely stay there again if we visit Stornoway in the future, and we highly recommend others to do the same.

We stayed for 2 nights and were very impressed.There are 2 buildings, practically opposite each other, we had an attic room which was very clean, with king size bed and ensuite. Very clean.Great location, 1 street up from harbour.Breakfast was served in building across the road, very high standard.Would definitely stay again.

On arrival we were met by a cheery landlady Rachel who showed us to our lovely room, it was spotless with a huge comfortable bed flat screen tv and ensuite , she asked us to fill in the request for the next days breakfast , this saved time the next morning and the breakfast we recieved was lovely and fresh.Rachel also gave information on the best beaches to visit while on the island this was also very helpfulWe were in Stornoway in March, this is off season and the town was very quiet , prior to going out Rachel advised we could use the tv lounge to bring carry out food to , this was just aswell as everything was closed .Would highly recommend if you're going to lewis .

After some initial confusion that lead to us seeking assistance from the wonderful woman running the hostel next-door, we were met by Rachel who was lovely and very apologetic. The room was beautiful and the shower was great. Slept really well and breakfast the next morning was excellent.
