I stayed 2 nights at the Brighton with my son, we traveled for a concert and stayed another night so we could fly our holidays. Staff was welcoming, the room was nice and clean and bed was comfortable(room12) shower shower was fine for me and my son! There was no kettle in the room but she left a kettle milk tea and coffee out to use whenever you liked. It was really quite heard no noise at all.. not far in a taxi to the arena or central. I would have paid extra for breakfast as it wasn’t included but I didn’t bother to ask. Overall stay was great. Will definitely use againThanks

Stayed here 2 nights ( supposed to be 3) but medical emergency at home so had to go home early.from the minute I got here I knew this was a great place to stay.room fantastic, shower and toilet immaculate, staff fantastic, and price great value for money,I'll be back in Newcastle with wife early next year and will be booking here.thank you all.ps sorry for the early morning getaway booked earliest train to get home asap.5 stars all round.

The last review was a bit harsh! This is a no-frills hotel that is clean and tidy and a 15 minute walk from the city centre. There are shops and restaurants nearby, but it's not far to walk to the city centre and there are buses. I had a single room, which was very comfortable (nice to have normal coathangers!). This is a family-run hotel with a friendly helpful owner/manager. Do check if you need to bring your own soap though.

Very clean and well run. Staff very friendly nothing to much.Tea coffee always ready to be made in lounge.Its a a quiet street with bus services a short walk away.They also have a cafe again a short walk away.

Hotel is very hot which isn't helped by the radiator that doesn't go off! but yet relaxing and can chill out! The toilet flushes well, but a peep hole is in the bathroom door so be careful who you share with! Hotel is very clean with a lovely receptionist. We got towels and hot water that actually works! Lovely paintings on the wall for hours of fun! We have 3 single beds. Great location, and wonderful sights to see! You may see the odd stain on the ceiling but looks can be deceiving, but over our time we have all seen this before. Hope this helps

The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. They take great care in making your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very clean. The complimentary tea and coffee made us feel very welcomd and we had an overall great stay.

For older folks, it was OK. No side tables by the bed for night time items. Not many electrical outlets for phones. We did love the clothes hanging spot. It was tidy & clean. Big detriment is the location. Only one clean restaurant. No alcohol to purchase anywhere. Absolutely filthy shopping area nearby. The Brighton is neat & tidy, as is their neighborhood. But there is no grocery or restaurants there. The only food place is about a block away & the Halal" area is a garbage dump. Period!"

Fantastic family run hotel! Room spotless, en-suite with shower and bath amazing, hot beverages free to use 24 hrs, tv and Wi-Fi, Michelle is amazing where nothing is a bother always there to help when needed!! Scott the owner is very efficient who prides himself on his hotel, top guy thanks for everything
