We enjoyed our dinner here. Service was friendly, portions were big and food was really good. The sticky toffee pudding is very good and great way to end your meal

My last night in Oxford and I dropped into Cow and Creek. Lovely pub. Clean, not too loud, plenty of seating. My family has a range of likes and dislikes for food so I appreciated the different options the menu had. From Tiki marsala to steak to classic British fare, plenty to choose from. The staff was nice and down to earth. About 10 or so beers on tap that I saw (drank a couple), plenty of mixed drink options, and my kids enjoyed a couple mocktails. The food was very good, our plates were emptied. Portion sizes were great (maybe not compared to some American establishments). The price was on lar with the area. 4 dinners, an app, 3 adult beverages, and two mocktails for about 70 pounds. When all is said and done, this is a pub, not a 5 star restaurant, and it did a great job at that (which is what I was looking for on my last night in the UK)

Cow & Creek, nestled in the heart of Oxford, left an indelible impression on me with its remarkable blend of delightful drinks, convivial camaraderie, and an enchanting ambience. Stepping into this charming establishment, I was immediately captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere that seemed to effortlessly draw people in, creating an oasis of merriment amidst the bustling city. The evening was punctuated by a selection of finely crafted drinks that catered to a spectrum of tastes, each sip a testament to the artistry of the skilled mixologists. From classic concoctions to inventive libations, the drink menu proved to be an exciting journey for the palate. Whether savouring a meticulously balanced cocktail or sipping on a carefully curated wine, Cow & Creek's libations were a testament to the establishment's commitment to excellence.Beyond the libations, what truly set Cow & Creek apart was the opportunity it provided to forge new connections. Engaging conversations flowed effortlessly as I had the pleasure of meeting fellow patrons, sharing stories, and discovering common interests. The establishment's design and layout seemed to encourage these interactions, fostering an environment where strangers could easily become friends. The venue itself exuded a rustic charm that was both inviting and comfortable. The décor tastefully embraced its countryside inspiration, creating an ambience that felt simultaneously cosy and vibrant.

I booked a bottomless brunch for my sisters birthday on Thursday 7th December at the Slug and Lettuce. They were very understaffed and we were not even offered a drink after waiting ages. Left without any acknowledgement from the staff and no orders taken. Had a great lunch in the Cow and Creek, where we were warmly welcomed and served. I should have gone there first anyway as it has always been a great place to eat and drink. The staff are always really friendly and welcoming. Went to the Cow and Creek again on the Saturday to meet friends for Christmas drinks. Always a pleasure.

We visited Oxford in September 2023 and decided to eat at the Cow & Creek. The landlord was very polite and welcoming. The choice of food was good, we had the surf and turf for under £16. The meal was good quality and the steak cooked just right. For this location and price we felt it was good value, hence our 5 star rating. Thank you for a good meal.
