I took some boots to be repaired. The sole on one boot was split. I paid £50 to have a new leather sole stitched on. After a day of wear the repair failed and it was clear the old, split sole was still there and had not been replaced , it had just been covered over. The person at the store was unhelpful when I took the boots back. He said he couldn't do anything because he was about to go on holiday and only a trainee would replace him. He did not offer a refund.

Came in last minute to get a glass engraved for a friend. Was told it would be done by 12 the next day, and to come back. Apparently something went wrong with the engraving that night after I left so they went out to buy a new glass and stayed late to make sure it was done on time. Thanks to Chris and Tim for the help! Superb service.

Checked google for opening times for sunday 6th august. Said it was open until 5. Took a hour out of my day to visit. Opening times confirmed by the plaque on the counter to be open until 5. However it was shut, it was shortly after 4.

Left my shoes to be repaired and was told to return in an hour (Tuesday afternoon). Went back to collect them an hour later and the store was closed. I'll now have to make arrangements to get them collected during the day whilst I'm at work. This wasn't the first time either - open/close as they please. Ridiculous service and would recommend you use other establishments.
