Having looked around at various kitchen companies, a local builder recommended using Hartwoods to supply and fit our kitchen. A great suggestion as Hartwoods offer a wide range of good quality options at a competitive price. We are very pleased with the product and services provided.

Had a good experience with Hartwood. Proactive up front and No kitchen is the same and the willingness to work to your needs was very good.

We originally used the services of Hartwoods at our previous house and were delighted with the outcome. When we moved to our current house, which also needed a kitchen renovation, the choice of who to choose was quite simple following our previous experience. I would recommend Jon without hesitation - he is enthusiastic, creative and experienced in delivering kitchen designs which exceed expectations. We received a CAD plan of the kitchen, which closely matched the look and feel of the delivered installation - which, once again, was well managed from beginning to end. I would recommend Hartwoods to anyone looking for a new kitchen.

Hartwood Kitchens designed and fitted our beautiful new kitchen in 2018. Although we had a basic idea of what we wanted, John took us through the whole process of the design with the utmost patience and without his invaluable help we definitely would not have ended up with our perfectly finished kitchen. We were able to change our minds and adapt and change the design over a few weeks all with the assistance of someone with a wide and complete knowledge of kitchen design. The kitchen was fitted by a first class fitter with the least amount of disruption and within the time frame we were given. We would give Hartwood Kitchens a well deserved ten out of ten !Bob and Rosemary Jones

Very poor service would not recommend, kitchen took over 8 weeks to complete, should have been 3 weeks. I had to ring and chase all the time, takes a big deposit then doesn't finish kitchen, very poor service, had to get the kitchen finished myself by other tradesmen. Over promised, under delivers, very disappointing, would not recommend.

Completely over promised and underdelivered. The planning phase was professional and timely giving rise to optimism and excitement for the completion of our new kitchen which was meant to take 3 weeks from beginning of February. 5 months later, it remains unfinished with cupboards unusable due to damaged or missing backboards and shelves, missing skirting boards, exposed fuse board and various other snagging issues unsolved.It felt as though once they had the balance of our money they completely lost interest and despite various promises to return and finish failed to complete the job, latterly becoming impossible even to contact despite numerous phone calls and messages.We are now in process of paying other tradesmen to complete our kitchen refurbishment and repair the panels damaged in the course of the fitting.I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but we were so disappointed by this company, their lack of professionalism, integrity and appalling lack of communication, that I felt it was important to share our bad experience and warn other potential clients against using them. I now also see that other customers have had very similar experiences and frustrations with Hartwoods in the past and just wish that I had taken more time to read the previous reviews before engaging Them for our job or at least reserved the later pay instalments until the work was completed

The whole experience from start to finish with Jon and Hart-Woods kitchens has been outstanding! Jon’s influence on the design made an awkward, narrow space with too many external doors and windows into a beautiful, modern, and completely usable space, with loads of storage, pull out pantry, large American style fridge feezer, island unit, and fully integrated appliances. He even managed to create a really functional utility area and influenced the renovation project’s direction in a way we had never considered! The kitchen was delivered and fitted as planned and looks incredible! Jon is passionate and very easy to work with, with great creative flare! Thank you so much Jon & Hart-Woods!!!

John and his team spent a lot of time and effort making our kitchen the dream kitchen we always wanted. Nothing was too much for John Hartwoods when it came to attention to detail and the finish product. I would recommend Hartwoods kitchens to anyone looking in the local area for a new kitchen

Hartwoods Kitchens, Macclesfield have just completed the installation of a new kitchen at our home. We used the company to install a kitchen at our previous property, were delighted with the result and had no hesitation in returning for our current property.Once again, the service provided was first class. From the planning and design of the kitchen, the ordering of work surfaces and appliances to the installation the process was professional yet friendly, efficient and completed in a timely manner.We were extremely impressed with the high standard of workmanship shown by the company throughout and would highly recommend Hartwoods to anyone looking to do the same.

Adapted design to suit our requirements! However, absolutely No help with flooring that was immediately found to be not fit for purpose, costing £1100. Doesnt answer emails, phone calls, and says he has contacted the supplier but still months later no response, way forward or resolution. We spent over £20k on our new kitchen and have a kitchen that looks so much worse than before due to the flooring delaminating. It a trip hazard for my mother and young son.
