Virgin Money

Fact is they don't want people in this branch and expect everyone to do on line banking. The result is senior citizens queuing up for about an hour, some of whom are clearly infirm. Mr Branson ought to feel ashamed but it won't bother him or his ilk.

We had rather complicated procedures to complete which took almost an hour but Edie guided us through with good advice and patience.A thumbs up for Edie!! (Good coffee too.)

Customer service is disgusting. The bald guy with the glasses at the door is incredibly rude. Not helpful in the slightest and very condescending.

I was pretty lucky with a 5 minute wait unlike everyone else there waiting an hour. Unfortunately due to virgin having an awful support system the lovely staff aren't able to help much. I was there for an hour in total. Made me pretty mad ngl, it should've only taken a couple minutes. At least it's comfy.

Very mixed experiences. On one occasion staff member very helpful and professional. Next time the meet and greet guy , put every obstacle imaginable in my way to actually get to speak to someone. I eventually said I had come in to make a complaint. He asked what the complaint was about , I said your attitude! I got to speak to someone!

I have been into virgin money 5 times to try and resolve an issue - the same issue I cannot pay by card over internet. I also phoned help desk. Al in all I have spent approximately 10 hours. To no avail.

Wow... I had read the bad reviews before going. Lost my token so had to go in and bank personally. A joke...I had 3 conflicting answers to my very simple question about a product for my business account, I was passed around 3 different staff who did not have a clue about the product yet the telephone banking advised me I need to go into the branch who then told me they had nothing to do with telephone banking. Most of them are just out of school in tight jeans and trainers. When I told them it was very frustrating and you work for the bank so you should know what I'm talking about I got attitude back from them. Not great customer service at all. I got a parking ticket also as it took over an hour and still didn't get done what I went in for as they pass you around. When I said I need to put more money in the meter they said I would lose my place. Great! A cost of £35.60 in parking and only one of the 3 things I went in for complete with attitude as a thank you. Been with clydesdsle for 30 years but will be moving my business elsewhere now as they do not have a clue... coffee and a smile is not going to cut the poor service...thanks guys. Ps. I also notice that they don't even apologise to those who have left a bad review for poor service...says it all really

The branch has gone downhill massively since it changed from the Clydesdale. All the experienced staff disappeared and now there are always queues and takes forever to do basic things like make overseas money transfers (still requires paper to be filled out and then re typed on branch systems).I also object to the mass of plastic plants they have installed in the branch. If you’re going to have plants in the branch, make an effort and have real ones FGS. Not more single use plastic.
