Ards House

We stayed at the self catering apartment. Which had Amazing views .2 great seating area comfy bed good shower wee kitchen.

the owner was really friendly from the minute we arrived. nothing was to much trouble. room was lovely and stay was really good. thoroughly recommend

Beautiful place in a beautiful location. Just a few miles outside Oban, it provides parking too. It was lovely to be greeted with a glass of wine especially welcomed after driving for hours. The view from the room was wonderful and a sofa strategically positioned in front of the window made it even better. The hosts had also provided binoculars. Overall our stay was fantastic.

Lovely room, which was to the back and suited us. Host was really welcoming and polite. Room spotless. We didn't have breakfast as we had early starts in the morning so for this reason we can't comment on it.

Should be called Fawlty Towers because the owner behaves like Basil Fawlty, aggressive rude, has no business running a hospitality venue with your character.Read other reviews that will confirm this guy is crazy stay away from here if you dont want to end up ruinig your holiday or even get assaulted by this unstable person.

Ards House was our favorite stay during our road trip through Scotland. I will absolutely be back someday! The location was perfect and we were happy that we chose to stay outside of Oban. This is a 5 minute drive from Oban and is such a peaceful area. The hosts were wonderful and gave us great tips for travel in the area. We had a cooked to order breakfast every morning. My husband and I stayed in the family room and it was quite spacious and comfortable. Ards House is a great value, the bed was comfy, and there was great water pressure in the shower. I cannot recommend this place enough! We stayed here 3 nights and it was the perfect amount of time for exploring nearby spots. Be sure to do the 3 island ferry tour of Mull, Iona, and Staffa! I recommend booking directly through Ards House via phone or email.
