Stanton House Hotel
Good value hotel, basic accommodation but good sized bathroom and excellent breakfast and good service from the staff in the restaurant.Set in a manor house, there are many rustic features however it could do with some better maintenance. Good location for visiting the Cotswolds.

Great location. Went here for a quiet getaway with the better half. Hotel looks over a country park. Great surroundings. Very quiet. Sitting out on terrace with a drink in the lovely weather with great views was just what we needed. Hotel is very nice looking. A mix of old traditional country house and modern. Works well. Staff were very friendly but did have to hunt them down a couple of times. Our room was great. Modern and traditional mix. Modern bathroom with huge shower. The wife did manage to overwhelm the drain with her 30 min shower which flooded the bathroom. Staff were quick to come mop up and rectify drain issue. We are in the restaurant, food was mediocre but tasty. Ideally located for quick drive to Swindon and the retail outlet. (Take your credit card) great breakfast in the morning, standard buffet type and a late check out. Only thing this hotel is missing is some facilities, swimming pool, gym, sauna etc this would make it an extremely nice hotel if these were added The perfect weekend for us( no kids) Would defo go here again.

Stayed with a large group of friends at this hotel and enjoyed a lovely weekend. We had breakfast and dinner both days and food was lovely. Friendly staff. Super comfortable beds.If you tip on your credit card this isn't given to staff - so remember to take cash

Stanton House Hotel
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night break. Yasmine on reception was realky helpful. If you do boom a standard room do be aware that these are basically single rooms with a double bed in. We upgraded and it was worth it and still good value.The setting is great. Staff were welcoming even though they were busy. Linda and Paige were very good on evening service.Food quality excellent and the place is very relaxing if you want to go somewhere that offers a great value space to unwind and relax.We would definitely go back.

Stanton House Hotel
I went for a walk around the lake this afternoon. It was very busy as it was a sunny day. You can walk around the lake or take different routes, which I haven't explored yet. Nature is stunning there and I saw a restaurant where you can have a coffee or something to eat. This place is surrounded by fields where you can find sheep which makes it even more stunning. I can't rate the rooms or service as I did not experience that.

Stayed here 3 nights and absolutely loved it! Spacious rooms, stylish bathroom, comfortable bed. Enjoyed getting a glass of wine and taking it to an outdoor table. So relaxing!

Stanton House Hotel
Went for a family meal at the restaurant within the hotel. It is in a lovely setting and the restaurant and toilets were clean. The waiters and waitresses were both welcoming and helpful, one accidentally spilt some of my cocktail whilst bring it to the table and he went back and replaced it straight away. The service was however fairly slow, but it was a busy Friday evening.

Lovely Manor House HotelFull of character in a lovely setting with wooded walk from the door and very pretty garden. Friendly and efficient service. Pretty bedrooms. I highly recommend this hotel with plenty to do near Cotswolds and Thames villages.
