Manchester Deansgate Car Park

AVOID AVOID AVOIDI parked here 12/09/2023. Cashless carpark so I downloaded the NCP app as all the signage was NCP. Located the carpark on the app and paid for 2hrs.I got a penalty notice because apparently this is no longer an NCP it belongs to ParkMaven who stated their green signs were all around, they weren't it was NCP signage so I appealed and it was rejected.I'm now left with a hefty fine.

Paid with app without a problem.Thought it was expensive for the duration we stayed, and the stairwell smells strongly of urine. Not the best!

Avoid. First time I used it I had to fiddle with downloading the app and paying online. I was stupid enough to use this car park again. As I used a different car I had to change the details in the app but the payment failed. It said contact NCP so I used the chat service. After completing much input I got no response although I got an email reply the next day. The payment did go through eventually. The car park has many free spaces - it seems hardly anyone is using it since it went barrierless.

Wondered why this car park had bad reviews when I Google mapped it, but didn't pay any notice, wish I had!My car got broken into while it was there, no smashed windows or anything, someone's in there with a decoder of some sort as I always always lock my car and double check when I leave it, came back to my gym bag emptied all over the boot, glove box emptied all over the passenger seat, everything rifled through and several things taken from the car (Watch, branded sunglasses, any spare change etc). Luckily nothing of massive value but still disgusting, be wary and DO NOT leave anything of value in your car if you have to leave it there, some proper scruffs aroundIn other news, paying for the car park was easy, no trouble

On a positive note our car was still there and in one piece on our return.. However, I did spend the 3 hours we were in Manchester wondering if it would be. Definitely one of the dodgiest car parks I've ever used....

Despite all of the reviews, I used the car park the other day without issue. There are clear signs that explain how to pay, and I did so online without issue. It is relatively expensive - I parked from 17:30 to 19:30 and it was £5.45, but for a conveniently located car park I didn’t really mind.

Was hesitant after reading reviews but really shouldn't have been.Secure and as clean as most car parks. I pre-booked a space before a gig as my usual and other car parks had sold out so was worried we would struggle.I shouldn't have been as there were lots of spaces available when we arrived so were straight in and out quickly after the gig

I've never seen such a filthy and disgusting parking place. Smell of urine and puddles of drain water on the stairway, landing and throughout the building! The stairway was slippery because of the water which was a hazard as well. Extremely overpriced. I paid more than £7 for 2 hrs. Surely the management can at least clean the place! No lifts or ramps.

Horrible. on my anniversary day too. after finishing a lovely night dinner. Came back to my car, finding out it got robbed. Everything inside documents and everything was fully scattered.

Used for the first time, plenty of parking spaces, I had an estate and found it easy to park in the spaces. I would definitely use again
