Part of the Rollright Stones site. Small information panel about this stone and burials surrounding it. Nice views of the surrounding area and limited parking on the main road.

A distinctively shaped standing stone overlooking lovely countryside. Believed to date back to around 1,500 BC, The King Stone stands across the road from The Kings Men stone circle, and The Whispering Knights burial chamber.There's free parking in the roadside lay-by and a £1 donation to visit the stones and help with their preservation.

Part of the Rollright stones & the ancient fable tale about the King & his men being turned to stone by an angry witch, this is the only monolith that is in Warwickshire which archaeologists believe to be a bronze age grave marker due to a continuous tradition of ritual behavior on sacred ground, both the Whispering Knights & the Kings men are in Oxfordshire, entrance is only a £1 per adult & 50p per child to see all three historical areas of fascinating & magical monuments.Free limited off road parking right outside the gate.

Tall Stone by itself on the other side of road to Rollright stones. Ground raised and bumpy from remains of barrow/earthworks. Good views to west. How much u get from this place probably depends on how into this u r. I like it but it could easily just look like a farmers field with a stone in it!

It's a nice stone. Though tales of witchery are just the fables (lies) of the Christian church which sought to replace our culture.
