Purchased a bike for my son as a Christmas present and was advised I would be contacted to confirm it was built and ready. Due to travel commitments I confirmed that this would be ready by a certain date and I would be contacted. Absolutely no contact and when I contacted customer service they were exceptionally unhelpful and just typed scripted replies

I always go to Halfords if needing parts replaced on my vehicle. Was totally out of my area and my indicator light died.. Found Basildon Halfords and was not disappointed. Andy was on the desk.saw me standing a bit unsure if where to be and politely directed me to the right queue. Quickly sorted the part I needed and arranged for someone to fit it. I only had to wait a couple of minutes and Rob was there to fix my indicator. Did a great job and all done really quickly. Both Andy and Rob were so efficient, friendly and professional. Would highly recommend them and Halfords service anytime. Thanks .

Kelly was very professional.She fixed my break lights within minutes. I didn't even have to take stuff out of the boots. She made the fitting look so easy. Definitely going there again.

Experienced some of the best customer service today. Kelly, as I've seen mentioned plenty in these reviews, showed she was there to help without the overbearing must make sales" technique. She simply told us she could find what wipers my car needed at the counter and if we needed her

Booked a free bike check online and chose this store as its local to us. Great customer service and attitude from the team upstairs. And big thanks to Jay for his knowledge, advice and patience with me asking so many questions. Highly recommended and will go back to Jay in future for any bike repairs. Thank you so much.

Halfords stores vary in size and facilities. The Basildon branch is a bigger store which also has cycle maintenance and a larger selection of car and motorbike options.There are technicians available. It's worth calling ahead to the call centre who will check if there is availability if it's short notice. Prices are reasonable. The store is larger and fairly well stocked.It's a busy store so expect a bit of a wait at the tills.This is the only area it could improve on as there are limited staff at times.Staff are friendly and there is access for everyone including a lift to the upper floor.Overall comparing Halfords stores this is a better one.

I came to this place for the third time to buy few stuff for the vehicle. Every time the staff was so helpful and informative. There’s a good collection of vehicle items in here. Always I find what I wanted. Even the lady who helped me last time came to my vehicle and demonstrated how the item should install. Highly recommended service. I will always come here for my vehicle needs.

Click & Collect pointless. Order online and get told by email & text that you will be notified your item is ready in an hour. 5 days later I go into store to ask if there is a problem with my order, to be told the system doesn’t work and I just needed to turn up!! Three stars given as the product is decent not the service.
