06/09/2021: I’ve been on the books of this practice for over 30 years and all of a sudden after I give an HONEST review I’m kicked off the books at this surgery but they use a boundary excuse, well if I’m honest I WON’T miss the ATTITUDE of Dr Ali who THINKS he’s above patients so no real loss here.Dr. Shahid would NEVER take such actions and would NEVER have an attitude like Ali, this just confirms how POOR this surgery is, good riddance I say.As a night worker it’s impossible for me to get an appointment at 8am as I don’t even see 8am, I ask for an appointment and I’m told I can’t get one unless I call the next morning, I then make extra efforts to get an appointment at 8am because I REALY NEED ONE, only to be told that all the early appointments have already been taken up by Dr Ali - DOUBLE STANDARDS.After 35 years of being with the same practice, it saddens me that all the hard work of Dr Shahid and his staff has been torn apart since Dr Ali took over.I’ve sent photos as requested and had 3 different people see my issue (1 of which where a referral was sent to the practice AND I’M STILL WAITING FOR IT).Do yourself a favour guys, find a BETTER Dr. that’s not got the attitude of ‘You Are Beneath Me’ when you talk to him.

The GPs here are ridiculous. Went in for an infection and according to them you cant have antibiotics or ibuprofen whilst breast feeding, which isn't true. Both my midwife and health visitor confirmed that you absolutely can take both of those, she also said hes looking a little yellow isnt he? You need to get that checked" - like yes

Carer for an elderly father having to chase this Doctor.The most inept practice giving the NHS a bad name. Not surprised with so many bad reviews. The receptionist are a law to themselves (besides the white lady sorry dont know your name)Having to chase up Doctor through them is worse than banging your head against a brick wall. They are rude, show lack of courtesy and very impolite. Have to ring several times to get the Dr call-back, then when the Doctor responds he dismisses the issue and puts it on the age factor. Gets told one thing then says something else. My father is vulnerable and the practice doesn't help.

Dr Ali Surgery - wish I could put minus zero. This doctor, I don't know how he dears to call himself this as he has no compassion, no listening skills. In fact he has no skills. He does not listen to you, jumps to conclusions and should be shut down. Asked for numerous calls backs only to be told he won't, refused my fitness note even though I had to attend accident and emergency as was in that much pain but he denied I was in any pain despite several emergency doctors and paramedics telling him my diagnosis and I require long term pain relief. Finally after begging did I get some and he made up my fitness note with his own diagnosis. Took weeks to sort out. Nearly cost me my job but no every other clinician was wrong and he was right. He gets an idea stuck in his head and labels you with it. Totally incompetent.

By far one of THE most unprofessional and negligent GP services I have ever experienced. The service has dramatically gotten worse since Dr Ali took over from Dr Shazid.Dr Ali - frankly, a disgusting, rude and arrogant man - that speaks and treats patients in a manner beyond repute. Quite the opposite to Dr Shazid, who had a warm and caring manor towards his patients and their families.If I could have given this service -5 stars I would have.

We have been with the gutteridge medical centre and before this Dr Jha surgery ( the same ) for many many years all my family Dr sha Dr Jha Dr Yara over the years abd the very many wonderful staff over the years including the present.They have always put our health first .These past 3 years has been incredibly challenging for all if us but these wonderful professionals have conducted themselves with dignity compassion care and responsibility they are very polite and considerate. The nurses both of them literally give you that feeling of confidence with the encouragement they provide. The staff at the front desk are understanding and polite and professional. And the doctors specially Dr Yara are totally professionals.These unprecedented times when you are literally on your last legs waiting on your phone with the energy companies your bank etc for hours on end these exceptional people pick up the pieces.Yes there is room for improvements hence the 4 stars but honestly when people welcome you by your name you can bet your life they care.Thank you to you all you are overworked and undervalued

Very poor service. Couldn’t care less. No care standards. My medical records lost, not bothered. Given half of my prescription not a care. Read other reviews and see I’m not alone in suffering. Very unhappy

This practice is terrible.Doctor Ali is rude, dismissive and disrespectful and the reception staff are hostile and rude. I call to speak to a trained professional not receive advice google could tell me.I’ve had to call 111 and go to A&E in the middle of the night numerous times because of how dismissive the doctor is.I’ve had trained professionals tell me I suffer from a chronic illness yet doctor Ali constantly tells me I’m lying about my pain.Even if you do manage to get an appointment it’s a waste of time because he doesn’t listen to anything you have to say.This is the first bad review I’ve ever written and I normally don’t like to complain but this surgery dreadful DO NOT register here.

Service is really poor. Receptionist are on phones. most likely too much work loadNo one at front desk. Need to employ more staff!

I have given 1 star as there is no option to have no stars , the service from receptionist to the doctor is atrocious , the receptionist are repeatedly asking you questions during the pandemic trying to say you have a cough so they deliberately try not to see you , me and my family have been patients at dr jha for 20 odd years but the service level is zero and the doctors are no better when I eventually got a appointment with difficulty breathing . Finally I was struck off off their register by being persistent on getting an appointment .Maybe this was a blessing in disguise and a opportunity to get better service at my new doctors . Avoid like the plague . These doctors at this practice are using the pandemic as an excuse to not see patients face to face and will be sending an email to the GMC in regards to their practices.
