I found every member of staff very approachable and professional and the clients very nice people. I have the pleasure in calling them good friends. Maybe I got lucky but came into a very special group. Eveyone from the Lee the Chef to Karen the head house cleaner was all marvellous..Special mention to my case worker Iain..Thank you I've learnt so much about myself guys

I was very nervous when coming into Ocean Recovery, but I couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff are fantastic and go above and beyond to help and support you. The accommodation is modern and very clean. The food is fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thanks to all the team!

*** Admission Staff ***Tina Tracy & Gemma are awful and have terrible customer service this has been evident on my experience with them. Clever in what they say as a normal person would perceive their description of the rehab and what it entails as therapy and councilling sessions. What they don't tell you is you get one councilling session if your here for a period of four weeks aswell as one key worker session a week. However they are more than happy to take your money.I requested an extension to enable me to attend an in-house narcotics anonymous group prior to leaving I was told I could have an extension for two nights at a cost of £950 and three nights £1350. After speaking with staff at ocean it was apparent I just required one night and would still be able to attend the meeting. I contacted admissions and stated I just required one night however was told it was not possible We Just Don't Do It " no further reason could be given

This place has saved my life. Spent the past 28 days in Ocean Recovery centre and what an amazing place this is.Daily structured routines which is the key to my recovery and all sessions were fantastic I learned so much In my time here all ready to live my second chance at life to the fullest!Staff are all absolutely amazing and full of knowledge. Always there if you need them no matter what time of day or night it is. IHouse is spotless and food is amazing. Chefs & House keeping are also amazing. Nothing is a bother to them. I couldn't recommend this place enough!Thank you so much

I leave ocean recovery tomorrow after a 28 day stay. Coming here has honestly been one of the best decisions I have ever made. and given me the best chance to move forward and live a happy and fulfilling life. The staff are amazing and so supportive. Especially with the emotional rollercoaster of a ride I have had in here. The group sessions and therapy’s are just what I needed and have helped me understand so much about myself and others. The hospitality has been great from clean sheets all the time to your clothes washing being done as much as you need. And the food has been fantastic. All in all I was very sceptical about the idea of a rehab at first but this experience has completely changed that. In a way I’m sad to be leaving. Thanks again to all the staff and people who make a place like this possible for addicts like myself to get a fresh start. What a journey the past 28 days has been!!

This place helped me grow and become more aware of my short comings yet still move forward.I found my tribe here.Every single member of staff had an impact on me from support team, amazing house keeping and Lee's morning disco in the dining room.I will treasure my time and the people who I now consider as friends.Thank you

I’m leaving tomorrow after 28 days and I have enjoyed every minute of it.The staff have been fantastic and will go out of their way to help you at at any given minute. This includes therapy, medical, cleaning and kitchen staff.This is a proper community. All the staff look out you and each other. This is the same between the clients, regardless of age or what your background is. My stay has included an age group from 20-80+ years old and everyone is treated as an equal.Personally for me, the daily content in the groups has been the most important part. Previously I have been in other places where 12 step recovery is paramount and little else, but at Ocean you learn about yourself, relationships, family issues, boundaries,thoughts, feelings and so much more and specifically how to deal with them.I would and will recommend Ocean Recovery to anyone looking for help.I’m so happy that I decided to come here. I now have some confidence that this can work for me on the outside which has never been there from all of my previous attempts.I’m finally feeling happy about being me.John 45Glasgow

I turned up as possibly the most reluctant guest ever to grace the doors at Blackpool.The patience of those who welcomed me was apparently second to none (although I have no memory).My experience was second to none, staff , brilliant, patient, understanding, wise. I can’t thank them enough for pretty much saving my life.If the staff read this they will know exactly what I have to be grateful for! Thanks you you all.

Ocean at Blackpool is absolutely amazing. The staff are dedicated, very caring and do a fantastic job. I went there very poorly, at rock bottom and without their help I’m not sure I would be here today. I can’t thank them enough for their care, concern and devotion. I would 100% recommend anybody to go there. The food and housekeeping staff are also brilliant. They also offer aftercare which is excellent. Thank you.

Ocean was the first step in my journey to recovery. I arrived not knowing I was going in to rehab and absolutely terrified whilst experiencing horrific withdrawals and not knowing where I was. I can’t say enough about how compassionate and caring the team working at Ocean are.I am beyond grateful for the month detox in Ocean and the help the team gave me to find my next step in my recovery journey upon leaving. It really is a safe haven during the vulnerable detox stage and there were plenty of laughs to be had in my four weeks at Ocean.A huge thank you and I will be eternally grateful for all of the support - which continues in aftercare after leaving!
