Impressed despite the other bad reviews. Went to buy one of their own-brand dehumidifiers at full price as it was good value for money with its large capacity and had good reviews. I was notified before checkout that they had refurbished units cheaper. Bought one for over £30 cheaper than full price on Sunday evening and it was dispatched the next day. Tracking info given immediately and it arrived the morning after - the same timescale as their next day delivery but without the extra cost.The unit is essentially brand new and works great so far so very pleased!

Lots of deals on offer, so you think you're getting a bargain, however when you place an order it conveniently goes 'out of stock'.Delivery dates also constantly changing so you have no idea as to when you'll receive your order. Ended up buying elsewhere so got a refund.Like to say it's a one off but other customer reviews confirm that this happens quite a lot.If it looks too good to be true then it probably is. I'd avoid.

Needed to buy a fridge and a hob and came across Appliances Direct. They appear to be a normal shop but act more like a drop shipper or a reseller! Their website says items are in stock, they even entice you to complete your purchase with a discount but once you’ve ordered them, you receive a text/email stating your items are not available rn and you’ll get them at a later date (in my case in a month!). Avoid them if you need appliances fast

Like so many on here pray your order is correct because if it isn't your in a world of trouble! Basically you just get ignored in every avenue you try to go down. Sent my hob back more than 2 weeks ago and not heard a thing since despite numerous emails and phone calls an absolute nightmare, they message you telling you they'll be in touch but never do, they have no clue what they are doing. Do yourself a massive favour and don't order from this company, I've definitely learnt my lesson, never again!

Ordered an in stock" fridge freezer which turned out to not be in stock for another 2 weeks. When it arrived they couldn't complete installation so had to get a refund of installation costs and get a real tradesman in to complete the install. After 32 days the freezer stopped working ruining a lot of food

I ordered two dehumidifiers. They showed as in stock. Paid £9.99 for next day delivery. A few hours later I recieved a text stating that they wouldn't be delivered for over 2 weeks and that as a result they would send me a £10 voucher. I didn't want a £10 voucher. As I had paid for next day delivery and wasn't getting next day delivery I wanted that money refunded back on to my card. No email address on their website. Just a phone number, which advises it costs 13p a minute, or an online chat...which isn't actually an online chat. It's an online help tool. I messaged them through Facebook.. an automated message said that they would respond in 48 hours. I mulled it over and ended up cancelling the order. I don't want to deal with a company as shoddy as that. Let's see if the money ends up back in my account now.....

1 star is too 1 too many.Ordered an oven, paying for next day delivery. 14 days later, still no oven, however now they are claiming I've already had it! Courier company claim I've signed for it even though I wasn't home. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere and I certainly won't return.

What a terrible company to deal with!Bought a washing machine online two weeks ago. Took the day off for delivery and uplifting of old machine.On the day, I tracked delivery but at the last minute they called to say the machine was damaged. When I called to ask what happens next, they said that the machine was out of stock but would be available the next week. After no contact to tell me of my new delivery date, I called them this morning. My machine still wasn’t available but no one decided to tell me, the customer!!! I asked for a refund. When I received notice of refund it didn’t include the uplift charge as that had been refunded earlier today. That implies that they had no intention of delivering the machine but no communication to me!!!!! A washing machine is something that you cannot do without especially for two weeks. Now it will take me another week to get another delivered from another company. Do not order from this company!!!

A mess of a company. Ordered a fridge freezer and it arrived smashed inside. No consideration for the fact that I need it to store medication, their 'customer service' may as well be AI based. Automated emails contradict what they say on the phone. Eventually got a refund after multiple phone calls, but my refund was not processed on time and was only issued when I phoned to chase it again. It also took 5 days to get the fridge taken away, meanwhile I had no fridge and no means to buy another.

NEVER ever order from this company they are the worst. You never receive what you ordered for a long time let alone next day what I paid for . It is absolutely disgusting how they treat their customers. They really don't care when you ring them up. I ordered a fridge freezer and paid for next day delivery to be told I can't have it for 3 days and then I have to let it stand for an extra 24 hrs also for the gas bottle to settle . In the mean time my old one has packed up so I have no fridge freezer at all. 1 star is way too generous.
