Turn up on a Saturday with my nephew who i had to drive to dewsbury to get to open his bank account to find it closed. Atleast 20 people turned up in the space of 5mins we were waiting there.

Bank keeps blocking my online payments. Just done it again. I was hoping to watch some sport online, I'm not buying drugs for goodness sake! Customer service from Halifax bank is useless.

The staff are very friendly and will try and deal with queries that don't need to wait for someone at the counter. For example using the cash or cheque paying in machines if there's a queue for the cashier

Halifax is a great small town. Loads of beautiful period architecture everywhere. It's cleaning itself up also with higher end bars and eateries opening up. Has a great selection of places to eat and decent shopping. Not amazing for clothes shopping but the Piece Hall is worth a visit with all the boutiques around the large courtyard always full of children playing in the water feature and exhibition or concerts or markets. This is the jewel in the crown of Halifax and a must see. Accessible to all.
