Dear Tony, Chrystelle, Sam, Derek, Jo & everyone at Super Event who made our wedding happen!THANK YOU! What a perfect, fun, wonderful, happy day we had on April 4th, and in no small measure, thanks to the amazing people at Super Event!The marquee was stunning, set-up was a breeze and your team of staff was just wonderful.Derek and Tony, the food was exceptional. Several guests have told us it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding – and in some cases, ever! A huge compliment I hope to the chefs – and deservedly so.The team of waiters and waitresses you sent along with Sam and Jo to look after us was lovely. So warm and friendly, attentive yet discreet. We really enjoyed having you all at our wedding.We found you on google – rather close to the wedding date – just as we were beginning to worry we would not be able find anyone to feed us, and that we would be putting up a £250 DIY marquee from ebay ourselves. Speaking to Chrystelle for the first time was a pleasure, and from the moment we met you, Tony, we were worried no more!Super Event, you smashed it!Thank you.With very best wishes,Sophie & Joe

Super Event Wedding Caterers & Marquee Hire
It is with regret that I write this review. We were pleased with the service that SuperEvent provided up until the day of our wedding. Unfortunately on the day of our wedding we had a number of issues with the catering staff and event manager and were very unhappy with the level of service we received on our special day. This included the theft of items provided at our expense for our guests, refusing to serve guests drinks provided also at our expense, failing to arrange the venue in the way we had previously agreed with SuperEvent causing family members to rearrange minutes before the event, and staff acting inappropriately towards our guests. My husband and I were also chucked out of the venue and given no assistance by the event staff when our taxi failed to show at the end of the evening. When we raised these issues and more following our wedding day the response we received was dismissive and unapologetic.The owner of this company also said our best man would “look like a p***k” on multiple occasions!!It is a shame that our day was tainted by the staff at SuperEvent. The venue Slaugham Place is stunning and deserves a better company to host events here.

We used Super Events for our daughters wedding, and we were delighted with everything we received from them - start to finish - top notch and very professional. The service we received from day one was fantastic, and Chrystelle was brilliant, very professional and a pleasure to work with. The whole team were brilliant and as for the quality of the food on the day.......our guests are still talking about it three months after the event.The wedding was held at BrewerStreet Farm, and again we were so delighted with the venue, and we also had the back up of Mr French (the owner) who also helped with some good advice which was very valuable. We would have no hesitation to strongly recommend Super Events and Brewerstreet Farm.....just brilliant.

Super Event Wedding Caterers & Marquee Hire
On Friday 15th May 2015 we held our daughters wedding reception at Slaugham Place West Sussex.We can give Super Event not only 5 stars but 110%, From day one when we first met Tony and Chrystelle to the day of the wedding Super Event were superb and carried out every step throughout very professionally, nothing was ever too much trouble.. The marquee and location was stunning the food excellent the staff went about their duties before and on the day to a very high professional standard . We cannot thank the whole team enough for making the day so special for tour daughter and son in law and our guests.

We have used Super Event for the 2nd time in three years, this time for the wedding of our 2nd daughter -again the celebration was held in the grounds of our home and featured a celebration ceremony marquee as well as the main marquee for wedding breakfast and evening dance party to follow - we opted again for the full drinks + catering package.As before, the day was a fantastic success and the Super Event team were faultless regarding every detail from start to finish and gave us the confidence to go ahead with a 'home-grown' wedding once again - we would not hesitate in reccomending them to anyone planning a wedding celebration at their home.

Super Event Wedding Caterers & Marquee Hire
My husband and I used Super Event for our wedding catering earlier this year and were extremely impressed. The team were amazing - Tony, Chrystelle, Steve and all of the team worked so hard to make our day perfect and for that we're really grateful.We had almost 140 guests yet there were plenty of fizz and canapes to go round, an exceptional starter, main course and dessert, all of which our guests are still raving about (and rightly so).The marquee was immaculately set-up and looked amazing. The Super Event team went the extra mile for us when the weather looked pretty awful for our big day, by putting an additional temporary structure up for our afternoon drinks and music. It worked a treat and we got no rain until the evening.We used Super Event's drinks package too and we were really impressed with the options and volume of drink available. We had a lot of happy (and merry) guests.Thank you Super Event for a truly amazing day, we will be recommending you to everyone we know who is getting married!

Austin and Sandy Vowles Wedding 18 October 2014 – a Parents View.As a parent planning a wedding in England for a couple, one of whom was abroad until a month before the big day and the other only fleetingly in England until then is not recommended but there were no options. Fortunately we had a family home as a venue but where to start on a long ‘To Do’ list was daunting. The Gods must have looked favourably upon us as in searching the Internet for a marquee we found the very comprehensive and well-illustrated Super Event website that offered not only the marquee but all that we had listed for the Reception.A phone call to Chrystelle Warburton at Super Event with a quick outline of what was envisaged for the Reception made me realise that we were talking to the ultimate professional. In a very friendly manner she changed our plans with a view to cutting costs and ensuring that our needs were met. Everything she advised from timings and initial champagne with canapés to the type of marquee, tables, chairs and requirements for dance floor, generators and electrics plus mobile toilets made good sense. Within a few minutes an informative wedding planning brochure arrived by email together with confirmation for a meeting at the venue with the CEO. Soon after, we received an initial quotation for the facility items emphasising that everything was flexible up to 6 weeks before the event. All that was left for me and the bridal couple, communicating internationally, to decide concerned chair types, decorations, table décor, lighting and ultimately table layout with place settings, and of course the all-important menu. This was all made easy using the website and especially for choosing the menu where all dishes can be viewed. Chrystelle’s experience together with her cooperative and friendly manner progressively resolved all of the outstanding items well before the event and meant that we had no concerns over the Reception.The Super Event team know their business so the erection of the marquee, floor, tent linings and the electrics was done to plan and followed up by a very professional pair of ladies who arrived to do the table layout and the decoration of chairs and tables the day before the event. We supplied the bubbly and wine ourselves for which importantly there was no corkage fee, and the team took our bubbly and white wine away to cool them two days in advance - all part of the service. We were involved at every stage in the setting up process and were invited to make any changes we thought appropriate and did so. Big Saturday arrived and the catering team was there on time with an Event Manager on duty available to us for any last minute changes or concerns.We could not have asked for anything better than we received from Super Event. The canapés were original and superb, the meal was excellent - 5 star – and the dishes even tastier than they look on the website. Chrystelle’s timings were adhered to and spot on, so after starting the wedding breakfast on time at 1630 after photo shoots (wedding was at 1400) it was completed at 1930 when the band arrived and the Super Event staff cleared the tables, moved them as agreed to allow for the dancing and provided more wine glasses and wine on each table. We also had a beer and cider bar that was manned until the party ended at midnight and Super Event cleared up. We had a brunch in the marquee on Sunday with the use of the generator, tables and chairs with the whole place being knocked down and removed by Monday at lunchtime.You will gather that I could not recommend Super Event more highly, every concern was dealt with quickly and we only had a few things to look after ourselves. The cost of the Reception was less than our initial investigations prior to contacting Super Event had suggested so we had good value and a very happy trouble free day.

We used Super Events for our Daughters wedding in June 2014 which we held in our Garden.We were so pleased that we decided to use there all inclusive package and could not fault a single item from when the erecting team arrive to the catering which was 5 star. They arrive the day after the wedding and left our garden looking as if there had been nothing there before.I would recommend them to anyone they were extremely professional at all times.Peter Crowley

Super Events did the catering for my daughter's wedding which took place on Saturday August 17 2013. The venue was our church hall (which was transformed by Bows Hire who did a mega brilliant job) so Super Events had to provide all the catering equipment, tables etc etc.My daughter wanted an informal affair so we had double canapes and a BBQ rather than a formal set meal. Everything was as it should be, excellent. Karen the event manager was brilliant. Our wedding car (nothing to do with Super Events) was 45 minutes late, Karen did not bat an eyelid and coped with this and anything else that was thrown at her with great aplomb.The second most important lady there, my wife, is vegetarian and her needs and the needs of the other vegetarians were met in full. My only complaint was that with ten canapes there was a real danger of not having enough room to eat the BBQ.All the food was great, the sword fish steak and the chicken were heavenly. We had a fantastic time and this was largely due to SuperEvents they do what it says on the tin they run Super Events. My sister-in-law disagrees with me she says they should rename themselves Fantastic Events.Use them you will not be disappointed, you will thoroughly enjoy yourselves.
