Sheffield Crisis House

My dad who is suicidal was taken here.. there were 2 occasions where he managed to escape the house unchallenged. The 1st time we were lucky to stop him but the 2nd time he was out of the house for over an hour before it was even noticed he had es escaped. This isn't a criticism of all the staff there as certain members seemed to be more compassionate than others but I don't want to name drop. On this particular occasion the new staff that came in to take over didn't seem interested or care in any way that my dad had escaped. He was sent there to be kept safe but he was far from it it seems..not impressed at all.

The kindest, most caring staff/people I've ever met! Sometimes all you need is someone who cares enough to listen to you in your darkest hours.Couldn't thank the staff enough for everything they did for me during my stay. The house was always clean, calming and relaxing and 5 stars" isn't enough x"

What a lifesaver. I have stayed here now in two occasions. One a five Night stay one a 11 night stay.The staff was absolutely outstanding, approachable friendly non judgmental and just amazing. Always there to listen day or night. But respecting your privacy too.The house it self is homely and gives you a hug as you walk through the door. It’s very well layer out.Thank you

I stayed for 4 nights. I can't thank the staff enough. They could not do enough for me when I needed to speak to them. The house was always clean and the room that I stayed in was immaculate (room 1). This is the disabled room on the ground floor and is en suite with a wet room. Compassionate and caring staff. Outstanding level of care and understanding

I needed crisis house so much, after being in hospital after a nervous breakdown.I stayed for 5 nights. By day 3, I fell really sick with a 48 hour bug. I went out in the beautiful garden for a cigarette at 10:30am.Then went back to my bed. I couldnt breathe out my nose and just felt really rough.Then there was a knock on my door by staff.She said was you with a man in garden". I said "No
