Smart rooms, all amenities catered for and perfect location. Excellent. I would have loved an armchair and small coffee table in the room. Breakfast was great, but it would have been nice to have a little extra such as fruit/croissants/extra toast.

Room and ensuite clean and luxurious.AC unit on ceiling was a bit noisy. You could hear the guests in the next room or corridor at times.Staff on reception and at breakfast were very good, friendly, polite, helpful.The breakfast was eggcellent, especially we liked the eggs royale... But we would have liked to have had a sweet option too, like cereals and toast and marmelade... Location really good between the busy centre and the old docks and museums.

Me and my partner flew from Jersey and stayed for 2 nights before heading to Manchester for 2 nights. Great location very close to everything like Liverpool One but also didn’t find it too loud in the area which was nice. Simple room but with everything you need. 24 hour reception. Breakfast was tasty and all staff very friendly. Perfect for what we needed.

The location is excellent with all amities near by. Bars, shop's, restaurants, museums and the famous Albert dock all on the door step.The staff were welcoming friendly and helpful pointing out the Liverpool light festival to us that was on while we visited the city and even provided us with a map to find all the lights locations around the city.On arrive our room was warm and inviting but with further inspection our room could do with a kick of paint as wear and tear was staring to show and the bathroom walls would benefit from a good clean!The bed wasn’t the comfiest a-bit on the hard side for my liking and for the time of year I would have preferred a thicker quilt even though the heating was great it was noisy and I struggled to sleep with it on

Receptionist was helpful when checking in. The room was clean and well presented. The view was super and the hotel is perfectly placed to take advantage of everything Liverpool has to offer!I was however, a little irritated that when we went for breakfast, we were told to use the breakfast and brunch menu which clearly states any two items from the breakfast menu for just £14 before 12o'clock. We were charged £17.90. When I questioned this, the waiter said this price was only available downstairs, for the general public! This is false advertising and I suggest either having a different menu just for hotel guests or just charge 2 for £14! VERY DISAPPOINING AND MISLEADING!

I booked this for my parents who were over for a long weekend trip for my fathers 60th! I called reception staff and spoke to a lovely gentleman ( can't remember his name ) to organise prosecco and decorations in the room for my fathers 60th! I didn't know what to expect with decorations but the staff went above and beyond ! They provided a 60th birthday card , 60th balloons and plenty of banners which my father greatly appreciated! Thank you so much! My parents said it was ideal location for walking into centre !

Friendly staffClean and modern roomExcellent locationGreat value for money, specially during The Open week.What could improve:The room door was so heavy to open, we had to put purbody weight on it to get in.There could be a breakfast buffet with fruit and cereal choices.Could swap streaky bacon and sourdough bread in the full English breakfast with back bacon and a choice of white or brown bread.Some of the staff at the bar would benefit with extra training; one in particular didn't know what dark rum was, was also very grumpy on the 3 different evenings we got served by her and not helpful when I mentioned the upstairs toilets were blocked ( the ones downstairs were out of service).

Great value for money - excellent room and location, great price (including high quality breakfast). Very pleasant surprise!The only downside is the quality of reception staff. I've encountered two different ladies at reception and although one of them was fine, the other member or staff was really non bothered and it felt like a presence of a guest was a burden to her. No polite gesture, no greeting, no goodbye. Fairly rude behaviour. I've never experienced this treatment in any hotel I've ever stayed at. My stay was superb until I arrived at reception to check out and had this encounter with the lady.

Hotel was lovely and quiet. Room was spotless, cleaned after the first night with fresh towels. Very safe hotel. Comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Great location. Would definitely stay again!
