Carpenters Farm Shop & Butchers

Absolutely delicious t-bone steak cooked on chiminea with some nice thick juicy sausages to go with it. Top class will be back today for our Sunday roast meat & veg. Yummy.

We are going back to fresh local produce and want to support local farmers. This farm shop offers pretty much everything. Fresh veg, fruit, bread, cheese, butter, milk, eggs, meat, honey and more. I enjoy my shopping experience too, thank you Carpenters Farm.

Upsetting incident in butchers today. After I had kindly been given a bone for my dog, I asked if one of the butchers could possibly cut it into a smaller piece. Unfortunately, I overheard him griping about my request. It was very unprofessional and bad mannered. And very upsetting. We have always shopped at Carpenters for several years, spending a substantial of money.It’s not the sort of talk I wish to hear. I suggest that he ensures he is out of earshot if he wishes to moan about a customer. We have always had good, polite and personal service in the past.It’s very sad, that due to this particular individual, we will not be visiting again.

Fantastic turkey crown we had from here yesterday. By far the nicest we have ever had and so reasonably priced and beautifully prepared.Will be getting all our meat from here in the future.

Steak and sausages are superb. Rump is especially good.

Brought sirloin steak the other day was the worst steak we have ever tasted went straight in the dustbin also had sausage and bacon which were ok

The best T-Bone I’ve purchased locally, great advice from the guys about how best to cook it as well. Couldn’t be more helpful.

Very very good meat. The pork we had a couple of weeks ago was so tasty and the crackling was delicious. I also very much enjoy their steaks. The rib eye are cheaper than a well known mid range supermarket which is a bonus because there is no comparison in quality and taste. Their range of fruit and veg is good as well. Biscuits and bread are excellent and delicious. The selection and quality of the cheese is way above par. They also do a great steak pie which would rival any home made one. Expensive, yes but well worth it. My only complaint about Carpenter's farm shop is that I spend far too much each time I go there. I have to ration my visits. I live about a mile away so I do get tempted very often. So to sum it all up,if you like good quality and products you can’t buy in the supermarket then you can’t go wrong.

Meat is some of the best I've tasted, last night had the horseradish cheese. Amazing. Lovely quirky little farmshop with a nice pub around the corner to have a pint at after your shop. Tom, who served me is enthusiastic, jolly and likeable. Great place!

Carpenters is a great farm shop. It has an amazing variety of goods, from duck eggs to huge and delicious Cotswold White Chickens. Excellent cheese corner, fresh veggies and fruit and superb meat. Their Cumberland sausages are the best. Great service always from the lovely Julie
