Had such an efficient, thorough, and personal service from Hawthorn Tax. I always dreaded the time of year when I had to do my self assessment for my rental property. Now that I have added another business interest it was the final straw in enlisting the help of an accountant. Referred by a friend, Anthony was so patient and diligent and put my mind at ease, not to mention taking away the hassle and stress of doing my tax return. Would thoroughly recommend!

I have been using Hawthorn Tax since 2021 for the preparation and filing of my self assessment tax returns (including employment & miscellaneous income, and capital gains on cryptoassets). Hyder has a deep understanding of tax law and is able to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise way. He is also very responsive to emails and always answers my questions promptly. I came to Hawthorn Tax by personal recommendation from a friend and they weren't wrong. Anthony was so knowledgeable and thorough, always explaining and putting me at ease. Absolutely brilliant. Every year I dread sorting my tax return, but getting Anthony on board to help was the best decision I could have made. Friendly and incredibly understanding of my complete lack of expertise in the area, super efficient at gathering all the required info, filling out the relevant paperwork and making sure I wasn't overpaying on my bill—made the whole process so easy and stress-free. Highly recommended.
