We had hoped for a walk around the small marina and a coffee and cake at the café but both are closed. The cafe permanently and the marina is private for owners only

Lovely canal side pub restaurant food excellent Sunday lunch is a must outside seating would recommend booking as it gets very busy The hourglass is clean has attentive staff Jim and Karen who run it will make you most welcome

We just brought our first narrowboat from Devizes Marina and the experience could not have been better, they when’s above and beyond to look after us from our first visit to the moment we drove out of the marina in our new home, would recommend this place to any new narrowboaters looking to start there journey. Very helpful, not at all pushy. Took our enquiry seriously, making every effort to establish what we kind of boat we might be interested in. Showed us two contrasting narrowboats. Explained that we could not view boats which were under offer. Very impressed with their commitment to the comfort of existing boat owners. Shower and toilet block is top notch. The site has recently added a lovely new cafe.

Most relaxing week there enjoyed watching the barges in and out of the marina staff very helpful everything was spot on

Had a lovely four days here. Cabin was amazing well equipped wifi non existing great. Staff really wellcoming and helpful. Really quiet setting tho, would say not great for kids. Hot tub did need cleaning and filter was bloked but the staff soon took care of that.

Went on a canal ride last Friday evening, and quite actually enjoyed it. It got dark soon though so must come back to it again in the summer with loads of daylight.
