Barchester - Queens Court Care Home

I recently worked in the home for a period of 6 weeks and found it a very friendly and well run home. All the staff were lovely whatever the time of day and the residents I met in passing always asking me about my progress. I would recommend this as a happy, clean, well run place for a relative to stay

I recommended an older friend to Queens Court Care Home and was so glad that I did. The manager and staff are very friendly and give bespoke care for each guest. The manager has been in charge for many years and enjoys spending much of her time talking with residents and making sure they are happy and comfortable. Queens Court is very clean, the food is excellent and the care is second to none!

I have been volunteering at Queens Court care home for almost a year now, and have experienced nothing but kindness from everyone there. The staff are friendly and provide a wide variety of activities for the residents to enjoy, and interactions are filled with patience, warmth and smiles. I am also often told by the residents that the food and frequent celebration days are prepared very well and thoughtfully; the care and compassion is clear. The home is beautifully maintained, with plants brightening all the rooms, conveniently located, and has such a welcoming atmosphere.

I am extremely happy to have my mother residing at Barchester Queens Court. The decision was made after witnessing their loving and compassionate care during her respite stay. I am always greeted by the warm and friendly staff and this continues throughout the attention to Mum’s care, comfort, and wellbeing. It’s always reassuring and wonderful to see Mum participating in the numerous activities and socialising happily. The environment is extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It is always a pleasure to visit Mum and leave knowing she’s at ‘home’.Mum receives excellent care from the wonderful and caring team at Queens Court.

I have just finished my placement as a training nursing associate at queens court care home. Let me start by saying how lovely, friendly and welcoming everybody is.The care they give to their residents is outstanding. From the carers, to the nurses, to the management everyone works as a team and it truly shows with how happy and cared for the residents are. I have learnt so much from being here and definitely want to come back. The activities they provide for the residents just adds to how simply amazing it is here at queens court. Thank you :)

I visited Queen’s Court recently and I was so impressed when I walked in to such beautifully furnished home with staff who were so professional and yet showed genuine kindness and warmth to the residents and to each other. This home also has the most beautiful garden and it was so lovely to see the residents enjoying it as well. The catering staff also prepared food that was absolutely delicious. It was a joy to be there and I can’t wait to go back.

My mother was in Queens Court for many years. I have just been to a beautiful memorial service for residents who have recently died. The service was sweet and moving and there was a (phenomenal) tea afterwards, but best of all was meeting so many lovely, lovely members of staff who helped our family so much over the - at times very difficult - years. It was a very cathartic occasion. Thank you to Shaaron and Abbigail, Kwaku and so many others.

I am a manager in local caffe and been invited to spend some time with residents at Queen’s Court, telling them all about my store and coffee brewing. It was a really nice afternoon. All residents and staff were nice and easy to talk to. Had a little tour of the house as well and it looks amazing.

I visited Queen’s Court and was amazed from the time I walked through the doors how friendly and clean this place is . The residents seems so happy and even chatted to me . Pauline is my mother’ friend so I was happy to see her so well taken care of . I asked for a tour and was given one the staff acknowledged me and answered questions when I asked .THE Kitchen staff were polite and the food being prepared smelt heavenly . I was rather impressed with the layout of the home , there were lovely sections where residents can happily relax .
