Used to love this place and been going here for a couple of years but have been really disappointed as of recent.My husband bought a Sirloin, 500g for £26, and when I opened it it was over 50% fat, see the photo attached. I even weighed it after all the fat was cut off and it was only 220 grams of edible meat. And the meat was only that - edible. It was chewy and hard to eat, even though it was cooked medium rare. I have had better steaks from the reduced section of Tescos.Prices seemed to have shot up while the quality has taken a nosedive. After this experience, I would think twice before buying again.

I'm extremely thankful to the the staff of this place for always being welcoming and kind. My dogs absolutely love bones and they rarely say no when I ask them. Meat is absolute top notch best place if you do carnivore diet.

Needed a joint for NYE and was delighted to see a great selection. Really happy and helpful staff helped me pick out a rib roast. Happy customer :)

My favourite butcher in Maida Vale. I usually go there when I invite people for a barbecue. Highly recommend the flat iron chicken, the mergezes, the T-bone steak and patties for the burger + bread!The staff is nice and extremely helpful! I definitely recommend.

We went on Sunday last week and bought steak and various other interesting looking meats. The prices are very reasonable and meat is delicious and restaurant quality. The guys in the shop are very friendly and helpful. Great to have such a good butcher's locally.

Maida Vale residents are blessed to have such an incredible butcher shop in the neighborhood. The team are energetic and engaging and the quality of the meat is off the charts. Sausages are made in house and they are now dry aging some incredible rare breed and ex-dairy cow cuts on premises. Looking forward to picking up my picnic cut pork shoulder for Easter ham!!

Quality free range meats, even if your a vegan once a month this is good for your body. Fresh produce with alot of love put into it.

Picked up a lovely sirloin steak from the very helpful staff. The cut was the perfect size and it tasted delicious but the price was very steep. However, the price was very steep so would only go for special occasions or when entertaining. The meat is from a great source and grass feed so completely understandable plus the staff are amazing at their trade so you are get great value for money in that regard.

I have been here a number of times as this is my local butcher, but the past 2 visits I noticed some very unhygienic practices. I found a hair embedded in the chicken which is in vacuum sealed packs in the fridge. Secondly, I bought some bacon and the lady serving me had been serving other customer immediately prior, picking up chicken and then dealing with payment at the till, she then picked up my rashers with her bare hands without washing them first.The prices are high and the hygiene practices leave alot to be desired.
