Rachel created thoughtful and moving ceremonies for both my mother's ash scattering and my husband's and my renewal of vows and handfasting. It was a pleasure to work with her, and she handled both the grief and the joy adeptly and with great warmth and consideration. She possesses great compassion and empathy and really understands the importance of ceremony and rites of passage. This is clearly her calling. Rachel is so amazing!! My (now!) husband and I were planning a very intimate elopement ceremony with the traditional Handfasting ceremony. I am so happy that we found Rachel to do the ceremony for us. We are in the United States so would be traveling and ended up rescheduling the ceremony a couple of times and she was very flexible. Her communication was great, she met with use several times over Zoom to get to know our relationship better and to plan the ceremony.I had a dream of getting married on a cliff and found a trail that I thought would work. Rachel drove hours to scout the place for us and sent us a video for a good spot for the ceremony.The day of, she arrived before we did and was ready to go. She has such an amazing personality, very easy to talk to and brought so much excitement for the day which made it even more special. The script that she wrote was so beautiful, she captured our relationship so well.I highly recommend Rachel! Thank you so much for making my dream come true!

Having been married for 30 years we decided to renew our vows and wanted a celebrant to officiate. It took no time at all in deciding that Rachel at Hope Ceremonies was the right person for us.From start to finish Rachel was exceptional and always on point in meeting our requirements. We booked Rachel to help us 'tie the knot' recently in front of all of our family and friends .Rachel was awesome from start to finish. We hired Rachel as an independent celebrant for our wedding. She could not have done a better job with our ceremony! In the run up Rachel took time to get to know us and our story, so that on the day it felt like we were married by a friend, rather than someone we hired. Rachel took a lot of care drafting our ceremony and suggested many lovely Scottish rituals that made our ceremony very unique and personal, and also researched German and Thai traditions (our nationalities) for inspiration. We had the opportunity to provide feedback on the script to make sure that it was exactly how we wanted it. 2 days before our wedding Rachel drove 1.5 hours to do a rehearsal/run through with us at the venue. On the day, many people said the ceremony was one of the nicest they had ever seen and that it was the highlight of the wedding for them. We cannot recommend Rachel highly enough! Last week I attended a Widow and Widowers ceremony at St Mary’s Monastery, Kinnoull hill, Perth, run by Rachel and her colleague Angela. It was the most powerful and memorable experience I have had for some considerable time.I worked on the Death of my wife Val and our daughter Jennifer. Even though it was some time ago I was helped immeasurably by Rachel.I would recommend Rachel to anyone requiring help in this region, or any other area for that matter!
