Thank you to everyone at GW Turner and particularly Nicolle for how you supported me through the process of my mothers death and funeral. Their care, professionalism, advice could not be faulted from the beginning of the process to the end. I could not have asked for anything more from them. I know it’s what they do, day in day out. But their approach was so personal- noting was too much. Their attention to detail and approach at every step of the way was faultless. They made something that could have been very difficult an easy and totally supported process. I can’t thank you enough.

My name Rita, our mum passed away last month, Jo and Max supported and helped us all the way through, no question was too stupid to ask and nothing to much trouble. They kept us updated on each process throughout the funeral arrangements and always put our minds at rest. We were introduced to a lovely lady called Sarah Casey who was to do our mums eulogy she met us all and as we shared stories about my mum she in turn put them into words that did mum proud on the day. If you are looking for a funeral directors that are unique and have a great approach to this service, then all I am left to say is that they are AMAZING. Thank you all.

We can't praise Turners Funeral Directors enough. They are very professional. Very caring and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. They handled my dads funeral and they gave great support and advice. They let us decide what we wanted and never rushed us. When we changed our mind on one decision they were happy to change the plan for us. We were welcome to visit dad in the chapel as often as we wanted although at first this was difficult as my dad was flown home from abroad and the coffin was damaged and had to be changed but they still made it possible and on the day of the service and burial although it was very eventful they handled the whole thing with great dignity for my dad and for the family. After care was also brilliant with help of the headstone and a service in church to remember our loved one just before Christmas. We would always recommend the team at Turners to anyone who has lost a loved one. Especially look out for Stacey and Neil who we wonderful at a time when we were lost and confused. Please trust the team at Turners who will be there for you when you need them the most. We as a family will never forget the help that they gave us and would never go anywhere else. Keep up the good work and thank you so much for all that you did for us.

I recently used Turners who were first class such professional service with personal touch. I dealt with Nicole who was so lovely. Empathic at all times. On the day of the funeral Nicole led the procession and was immaculately dressed and was so professional .I would use them again.

We have always used G W Turners for grandparents and my father funerals, they are a professional and caring company. Max guided us through the process so well. I felt I could phone and ask any questions big or small.I visited my mum(something I have never done before) at the Chapel of Rest. They had looked after so well right down to her nail varnish.On the day although upsetting they supported us and were so respectful of mum and us.I am so sorry I can’t remember the ladies name who led the funeral from my mums rd but would like you to pass on my thanks.Thank you for making one of our worst days bearable.I would not hesitate to recommend this company

Highly professional team but throughout everything they were caring, helpful and nothing was too much for them . Max, Jo and Nicholl were lovely helpful friendly and very caring something that was very important and appreciated.

Max and Jo helped organise the funeral for our 8 year old daughter. They were exceptional, very kind and compassionate.Dan was in charge of the funeral on the day and enabled us to spend a lot more extra time with our daughter in the chapel of rest. I have no words to express how fantastic Dan was before and on the day. So incredibly patient, calm, respectful and thoughtful. He talked us through everything so that we knew what was coming next and this helped reduce any panic or anxiety about the whole experience.Nothing was too much trouble. We are incredibly humbled by how amazing GW Turner were to us throughout.If I could give them 100 stars, it still wouldn’t do them justice and we can never thank them enough for how wonderful they were at a difficult time.Thank you Dan, Max and Jo. We will never forget all that you have done for us and our little girl.

Thank you so much to Nicolle and the caring team at GW Turner Funeral Directors who have looked after my father's funeral and our family through every step of the journey. Nicolle's professionalism and caring attitude really helped my Mother and I with all with the plans for the funeral and delivering a celebration of his life that fitted such a caring and loved husband, father and grandpa. Nicolle was supportive and patient with us throughout, we were assured that my father was looked after and she helped provide us with the strength to say goodbye.

I would highly recommend the funeral service provided by G W Turner. They have long been established in Edgely, Stockport and deliver a first class service at a reasonable cost.All aspects of arranging a funeral service are sensitively addressed with their staff, with the greatest of respect shown to both the deceased and their family. Every effort is made to ensure that all possible arrangements are fully catered for on the day of the service.I found the staff to be genuinely attentive, caring and respectful and always available to meet with the family at a time of great sadness.
