3 of us went here for a birthday meal for my dad. Service was first class, food was delicious and plenty of it. We had a lovely time. Will definately be returning.

A clean, bright, comfortable pub with excellent food, and friendly service. The menu had great variety, the drinks were good and we appreciated the large outdoor garden as an option for dining with our small dog. Would highly recommend this pub for drinks or a terrific meal

A fabulous pub to have a family meal.The service was next to none, waitress was pleasant and very attentive.Atmosphere was lovely.Food was fantastic.We had fish and chips & mushy peasTuna, new potato and salsaCheese cake biscoffFully recommend

Wonderful food served by welcoming and friendly staff. Would recommend the roast beef Sunday. It was tender tasty. Perfection on a plate.

If you’re happy to pay £5.40 for 2 small cups of luke warm tea then this is the place for you! If you’re ordering tea for more than one person then order 2 pots for the same price but double the amount. This was pointed out to staff but no refund was given……..apparently we could have asked for more water to go with our 2 tea bags (not a quality brand let alone real tea) at the above price! Low quality deep fried food, small quantities and over crowded (tables) outside space.

A cosy village pub on the outskirts of Waltham chase. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food is good, a little expensive for what it is perhaps but it was made up for by the staff’s warm hospitality.

A great little pub. The staff were full of enthusiasm and I was greeted with a huge smile. The food was really tasty and served promptly. The price provided good value. The atmosphere was friendly - clearly a favourite with locals and passing travellers alike. There's plenty of parking to the side of the pub; with disabled parking near the front door. The pub offers food in the bar or in a restaurant area at the back. Overall a good pub.

First night fancied something simple a basket meal £6.50 good quality nice beer and our black dog felt very at home. Went back a second night ate off the main menu again lovely meal
