Having Multi lens replacement surgery is the best thing ever! Two days later my vision is perfect and I still can't believe I don't wear glasses! The pre and post op care and attention is brilliant, so detailed. I would like to thank Mr Gonzalez for his excellent care and changing my life. A huge thank as well to all the other wonderful, so professional staff involved. Lastly, Thank-you to my late father who made this all possible.

From the start of my journey to today ,my experience with Optical Express has been of a friendly, caring warm nature, from the staff at Optical Express York (who have been absolutely fantastic)to the staff at Optical Express Manchester ,I felt I have been treated as a priority at every stage ,even the surgeon Mr Pedro Gonzalez was approachable and made me feel at ease and comfortable before ,during and after the procedure.This for me has been a life changing operation ,from wearing annoying glasses that constantly need cleaning ,or pinching my nose and causing headaches, just a few of the reasons I wanted the procedure carried out.After some doubts at first ,my mind was put at rest by the whole team from start to finish ,consummate professionals but very friendly.I would like to thank them all for changing my life , they carry out thousands of these procedures all the time ,but made me feel I was first and foremost and that has made it all the more special and an absolute fantastic experience.Michael Joyce

I have recently had lenses replaced to correct my short distance vision. The process from start to finish was very thorough, the actual process was painless and over within about 20 minutes.I would strongly recommend Pedro the ( surgeon) who put me at ease. Iam currently going through the recovery stage, after 1 week the eyes are slightly gritty and light sensitive as expected and pre warned, with realistically 48 hours I noticed the difference.Hopefully the remainder of my recovery will be as straightforward as the actual surgery.ThanksWayne Stanley

My lens replacement was carried out by Mr Gonzalez at Optical Express, Nottingham on Friday 22nd April 2022 and throughout the whole process, Mr Gonzalez and his support staff were very professional, friendly, approachable and open. It is now the day after and I am so pleased with the results at this stage. I have just returned from my post-op check up appointment and results have exceeded the normal results for 24 hours post op.In my eyes, no pun intended, Mr Gonzalez and his colleagues are worth their weight in gold for the work that they do.Eyesight is so precious to us all.Many thanks.

Having cataract surgery was inevitable. The whole team in Manchester were very friendly. Pedro's manner and assured approach was reassuring and helped to put me at ease. The surgery itself was incredibly quick and all through it I felt I was in good hands. By the following day I realised how much I had been missing: the leaves in the distance were clear and the colours were brighter. It was the equivalent of buying an UHD television!! After wearing spectacles for virtually all my life, I now only need reading glasses off the shelf. Would recommend Pedro and the team to anyone thinking of making a life changing decision.

It took a long time for me to make the decision to have lens surgery, I did my research reading reviews, reading about the Surgeon's and how the procedure is performed. After having my consultation and meeting with Pedro and his professional team I was happy to go ahead. The Manchester hospital is a very nice quiet place and all the staff on both visit were very professional. The nurse who looked after me after surgery was fantastic.I have just had my post Op appt (less than 24hrs after surgery) I was very pleased to be told I have 20/20 vision.

Having lens replacement surgery was a no-brainer after discovering that I was developing cataracts at the age of 50. Pedro and his team were very friendly and reassuring, doing their utmost to put me at ease. The surgery itself was incredibly quick, and I was amazed to have some vision immediately afterwards. By the following day I was able to read thr smallest font size on my mobile whereas before surgery I needed the largest font. What a great team, and what fantastic results. I can only thank you wholeheartedly for the difference you have made to my life.

My experience of having multifocol lens replacement with optical express was superb from start to finish.The entire team of people from initial consultation through to actual surgery made me feel relaxed and confident that I had made the right choice.My expectations we're that if I obtained a level of eyesight inline with that of wearing my glasses I would of been quite happy but I can honestly say that I am overwhelmed with how good the results are, everything is sharp and clear and this is only day two after surgery.The procedure is relatively quick and causes moderate discomfort which is well worth it for the results.Many thanks to all the team and especially Pedro my surgeon.

I was extremely apprehensive about having Refractive Lens Replacement surgery because, you know ... it's the 'eyes' and you're awake for the procedure. I needn't have worried, you actually cannot see what the surgeon is doing, just bright lights and you certainly cannot feel anything because of the anaesthetic eye drops. Mr Gonzalez was very informative all the way through my procedure (which took approximately 20 minutes for both eyes) and put all my anxieties at ease. This is my first day post surgery and I'm writing this review without my glasses. Best decision I've ever made! I cannot highly recommend Optical Express enough. Mr Pedro Gonzalez and his team are brilliant and caring people and make you feel at ease from start to finish.
