Travelodge Stratford Alcester

Had to stay last minute during an electrical emergency at home. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Work was being done to the communal areas but very quiet and efficient.

A little perturbed that the assistant put me in the wrong room initially, due to a need to change the carpet. SO I have to move out, only for the next assistant to put someone else in the room the following day. Nice one!Also they don't tell you when they test the fire alarms, this was a little inconsiderate, as I didn't want to be disturbed. You may want to try somewhere else, where the assistants look after you a bit more.

You know what you get in a Travelodge... A safe place to stay overnight in a comfy bed. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. No frills, but it was perfect for a quick stop over.McDonald's on site and the shop at the petrol station had plenty of choice for breakfast bits.Staff were very pleasant and check in was efficient.

Absolutely terrible. Booked as I had an important day at work and no water at home because of renovations. The shower was the worst I'd ever experienced. A litteral drop and there was no shampoo in the dispenser. The whole point of staying was to have a decent shower before work. Absolute rip off.

We were pleased with the large room.The price for dogs @ £20 per dog was steep. Then if staying another night no reduction in price. But reduction for adults now it's more expensive for a dog than humans.We would've stayed on. If they're were reductions for our dogs.

Rooms are as expected. Staff are brilliant. The only negative is that it needs a refresh.Carpets are stained, or holey, paint missing off the walls........I'd stay again if I had to, but the Premier Inn down the road would be my first choice.

It's a perfectly fine overnight stay if you get a cheap price. This is an older-style Travelodge, so you still have keys for the rooms, no plug sockets by the bedsides, and TVs sized for ants. A couple of bulbs out and an intermittent TV remote added to the tired feel. The WiFi service is frustrating and temperamental, too. But the bed was comfy as ever, and you get complimentary tea and coffee, so I can't complain too much for a cheap price. Definitely due a refurb, but you'll get a decent night's sleep!

First time tried. Never again. Disabilities made worse cos only one pillow. Advert said supply FOUR pillows! (2 each but i use his for disability) ..... So was like camping had to use whatever clothing could find, and towels (v hard so hurt) but not high enough to stop pain under head but especially under knee for arthritis. Bed slumped, hurt back as found self falling into middle and couldnt lean on hubby cos bed so huge! So woke in night in agony.Ad said book in any time after 3pm so leaving after work, after 4 hour journey arrived 11pm expecting 24hr reception.... office was closed. 0800 Number on sign said cant take call right now goodbye".... luckily we found another number

Bed was honderous . Pillows were very uncomfortable . Probley one of the worse nights sleep I've had . Shower was awkward and old fashioned. No floor mat . So floor became very slippley. Poor view from window . Lights very bright not nice to wake up too . Small kettle .

Stayed here for one night. Bed was comfy and the room had a nice powerful shower but unfortunately that's where the good ends. The room was pretty tired and wasn't exactly the cleaned either. Dust all over the place, carpet looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, stains on the curtains and bed frame, strange marks left on the bath. Waited about to speak to a receptionist but nobody showed, I'd think twice before staying here again.
