Since Mr and Mrs Lee left this place gone downhill rapidly. I’ve tried it twice since and unfortunately had to abandon his place. Used to be a hidden unassuming gem but seems they opted to either buy cheaper ingredients or change the chefs. Such a shame after 20 years of using this place. RIP Lee Garden.

Not very nice at all unfortunately. Curry thick n gloopy with very little meat. Rice tasteless and stodgy, pancake roll had a bizarre sweet taste too it and the meat in it tasted funny.

Awful food don't waste your money it looked as if it had been kept in a fridge for cats week and then reheated.

The shredded chilli beef is £6.40. This was the portion that arrived and also meant to be crispy. Everything was tasteless and greasy and not hot. We had what was in the pictures (one portion of each and the veg spring rolls were pretty much empty) plus a chicken and sweetcorn soup and S&S chicken balls, curry sauce and was £30.40.

First time and we were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. 3 curries and sweet and sour chicken ballsReally quick and friendly service.Lee Gardens wil be our go to for Chinese now.Cannot rate them high enough.

I really can't understand all the negative reviews. Having had food here on our own and with friends almost countless times over the years, it has been brilliant, except perhaps on one or two occasions where it is good, but not as good as normal. It is still, by far, our favourite chinese anywhere near Portchester.

Apart from the sweet n sour chicken balls, the rest of the food was awful! The special fried rice was slimey and not special at all! The beef in black bean sauce was far too spicy and the chicken curry my husband had was greasy, gloopy and basically inedible. What a waste of £40! Do not waste your money here...

4 of us (me, my wife & 2 friends) ate from here last night. 1 friend & I had a chicken curry & both were sick & have been overnight. Thick, gloopy, greasy .... not good. Rest of food was Ok, friendly service but obviously put-off & wont rush back
