Travelodge London Heathrow Heston M4 Westbound

Very difficult to get to. Hallways are filthy dirty, carpets and walls. Rooms are below what I would consider basic. Although I don’t expect luxury with a Travelodge this one is well below par. I would say avoid at all costs.

Nightmare to get to and from due to having to go back on the M4 every time.Shared my room with lots of little red insects which bit me a couple of times. Walls quite thin and hotel generally noisy.Did not feel safe AT ALL on my own, as a female solo traveler, staying in different hotels every week, this was by far the worst one for personal safety. Lots of workmen use the hotel and made me feel very uncomfortable. I found myself running to my room every time I returned. Did not feel safe leaving belongings in the room either.Shower is just a trickle, toilet roll was the worst quality I've ever seen in my life and the tap water is extremely hot (no warning sign either).Strange smell throughout the hotel, regardless of them redecorating and there was a bizarre cheesy smell in my room upon first entry too, it did not leave throughout my 3 night stay.Staff on reception had no personality and did not make me feel like I could have approached them about any issues at all.

Fire alarm set off about 10pm, not their fault but very annoying standing in th carpark. Soap dispenser didn't work in shower, found out after I was in and showering. Could hear people either side, walls not very soundproof. Cheap but not cheerful.

Rooms are clean and smell fresh.The manager and the guy working nights on reception are very helpful and very friendly.Cafe next door is open for breakfast but not for dinner ( eat before you get there as no one delivers here as well).

Brilliant staff, nice room, i even did the u.v. light check and,,,,, very very clean. very close to Heathrow 11 mins away with traffic from airport. Parking charges are waved if registered with the hotel. Brilliant. And a breakfast box for £5,50. Recommended. Great little breakfast. 5* well done guys and thanks for having me.

Thank you to the team at Travelodge Heston westbound for a pleasent stay. Gurmeet and the team were extremely accommodating for all of our requests and always happy to assist.The room was clean and spacious for a family of 4.It's a great option for an affordable hotel close to the airport.

Rooms were OK.Hard to get to from M25, It adds 10miles onto the journey. Staff ok but not warm and friendly.2 separate stays and both times it was noisy, hearing people walk above and kids run in the corridors. Even when asked for a quiet room, I had to complain to reception.Also buggers outside the food area next door.

Shockingly bad didn’t change towels or makes beds in the 4 days we stayed. I had to go to reception for fresh towels and was informed by the gentleman who suffered from a lack of personal hygiene that they only cleaned every 7 days. !!! It was a bit of a Grimm hole to be honest it needs something doing to improve the overall place.

Obviously handy for Heathrow, but be aware that it's awkward to reach if you're arriving eastbound on the M4; you have to overshoot, turn and come back. Not a problem when the traffic is light.That aside, the room was clean and very quiet overnight. I had been skeptical about trying to sleep so close to the airport and motorway, but my room, at least, was fine.

The customer service has been awful I was first given a room that wasn't ready, I walked into a maid cleaning it. I Was then given another room and found somebody sat at the desk doing checks on the room. Not once has anyone apologised for this. Also it would be nice to be told in which direction your room is rather than just walk the hallways looking for a room number.
