more emphasis on uniform than education, respect, and happiness. if you want to take your kids here, please dont. The rules are ridiculous and cause more stress than need be. I'm not exaggerating, they have excluded people for shaving their head. The high up management do not care about their students, only the schools image.

The school as a whole is ... OK. However there are far better secondary education settings available in Doncaater. As an academy under Delta trusts, I feel the school care far more about attendance and things that effect their budget than they do the children's welfare.

This school Is absolutely shocking tbh my children are ignored when need help and told they being cheeky or sent out for asking sometimes given detention I've asked for help with certain problems with my children and needed it urgently and it's taken ages or never been done I can say the only person in that school and I wouldn't want to add extra pressure to her but she is the only teacher that has gone above and beyond to actually help my children and is fantastic at her job is Miss Cadman I ask her all the time when I'd like information on something or help she is always there

I am disgusted with Delta Don Valley and their abysmal treatment of my daughter. She's unwell, under GP care, but she felt pressured into attending the academy despite the GP having no clue as to what's afflicting her. Her condition worsened but the school did nothing. When a senior member of staff was informed of the sensory differences with my daughter (in terms of this illness) the member of staff was patronising and refused to release my daughter. And Mr Staniforth was one of the few good members of staff. The sooner my children are out of that school the better. It also shows how ineffective their teaching is that while my kids were home schooled during the majority of the pandemic their educational level hasn't dropped compared to the levels of their class based peers.

As soon as both my kids are out of here the better. It makes me sad to think the school don't have their best interests at heart and I'm mad at myself for enrolling them in

Shocking. It's like a prison .Kids are caged in a d not allowed onto fields which have been fine for them. There only allowed home on the main Rd entrance where three kids have been knocked over. Won't open old entrance which is more safer. Bad teaching

I have just spent the morning in Don Valley School. In some lessons in the canteen at break. My opinion has changed I think it's BRILLIANT. The classrooms are great, some of the learning techniques that are coming into place are going to help our kids so much. I went into isolation too it's not so bad in there at all. And all our kids that go there were well behaved and polite. There is going to be an invite for parents after summer to have a day there if your child goes to Don Valley I recommend you go.

Kids are pretty well behaved, someone showed me how to access the cover work. It was a good experience.

The school overall is quite terrible.Since it was taken over by Delta, lessons have become bland as if teachers were reading out of a textbook or looking up answers on google.Threatening to keep students back a year if they don't do 'pledges' - a list of completely useless stuff such as making a presentation or staying at after school activities (which some people don't have the time for). There is very little support for students' emotional health or problems like anxiety.I remember having a panic attack and a member of staff threatening me with a detention if I didn't go back to lesson (even though I was given permission by my teacher to leave the room) and saying that anxiety and depression are made up.Some teachers go on power-trips and punish students for doing nothing wrong. The list goes on.

Great school,it's really good they give us a great education and help you throughout your problems or worries. I would say the rules can be a bit harsh at times but all in all its a great school.
