Always fantastically helpful. I bought a rather bulky item. I have a disability, though not obvious. The staff were very helpful as usual. A young lady asked if I could manage and even offered to help me to load it in my carI am sorry for the delivery problem with the last review, I have to say if I order on line I always check delivery to the store as it is. 10 miles to my nearest store. Thank you and well done Argos Fakenham.

OK so you can purchase stuff here but heaven help you if you want to return anything. King Canute would have more success turning back the tide than a customer getting satisfaction here. Ignorant and patronising female manager, must have been specially trained to say no. I recommend shopping elsewhere.

Very convenient for parking and the staff are friendly. Only problem is touchscreens instore are temperamental. Went on 2 screens. Both couldn't complete my order as unable to connect to their server.

Good service received from this Argos store. They have a arrangement with the Argos store in Cromer to share stock and deliver anything ordered before 2 the same day. This increases their stock holding. Parking is good in Fakenham with 2 hours free. Remember to get a ticket, even if you are staying for less than 2 hours as the car park is regularly monitored.

Right next to a car park, the store recently modernised and feels very open but they expect you to use a tablet which isn’t a problem for me but for elderly people, I can see them struggling with the system once you sorted the order out you have to put a memorable code in, normally recommends your name but that can be a problem because someone else might have used that reservation name, but knowing that I normally just put 4 random letter in the reservation name

Split the order into 2 parts and expect the customer to run in and collect it twice or pay extra for delivery. Order won't cancel online and and the automated answering service has to be one of the most frustrating ever - an altogether genuinely charmless experience in store.

Really awful experience when trying to return a product to Argos Fakenham earlier this week. I explained to the lady on the till that my 10 year old son had purchased a xbox storage drive but the product description failed to say that some games can be played from this and some can’t, so I believe this to be very unfair and misleading. They offered absolutely no help, I asked to speak to the manager who shouted from behind the screen ‘I’ll only tell you what she has’ which was extremely unprofessional. No wonder the store is always empty with rude and unhelpful staff.. and to make it even better Kings Lynn store returned it today no problem atall..

We went in to return a faulty gazebo (which actually went quite smoothly) and overheard the plight of the lady next to us. She had ordered two items online to collect in store. She had received a notification that her items were ready, but when she arrived she was informed that only one item was in store. When she asked why she'd received a notification when only one item was ready to collect she was told that it happens all the time.On another note, last year I was given an Argos voucher as a gift and wanted to put it towards a fridge. I found out that you can't use vouchers online (rediculous but not the main reason for this low rating) so I had to come into store to order said fridge. All went smoothly, was asked my preferred delivery date, it would be in a few weeks time which wasn't a problem as we weren't moving into the new house for a few weeks anyway. Fast forward a few weeks and a lady from Argos direct calls to confirm a delivery date for an entire MONTH later than the original date. I asked why it wasn't coming in the slot booked in store and she informed me that the store system was not on the same live system as Argos direct or the online system, so all deliveries booked in store were not guaranteed. So I asked why I wasn't informed of this sooner and asked to cancel my order as when you move into a new house a fridge is kind of essential. I was not given a satisfactory answer to the question and was given a bit of a run around in getting an eventual refund.All I can say is that Argos really need to get their act together as these are only two incidents out of many where I or others have been needlessly inconvenienced. In a world where everything is becoming more convenient and accessable, Argos are pitifully lagging behind.I will say that the staff were doing their best with a bad situation, but informing us after the fact that that's just the way the system works" is not helpful. Some prior warning would be nice."

Was slightly messed around by the delivery driver who was meant to have delivered my corner sofa a couple weeks ago today but called in "sick" so had to reschedule to Monday last week.Wasn't so bad though as I got back the delivery fee I was charged even though I thought Argos had this thing where everything over £100 was FREE delivery. Bit misleading there
