Need ID checks for a remortgage. Should be a relatively simple process but no, Kenneth Bush solicitors can't help, my documents could be fake im told. When I called back to discuss the matter, the receptionist was totally disinterested and began yawning over the phone whilst I'm talking. Would not use this firm for anything.

Absolutely awful conveyancers! I had a cash buyer on my property and Kenneth Bush solicitors would not communicate with my conveyancer or even their client. We lost count of how many times my poor conveyancer, my estate agent and the purchaser tried to contact Kenneth Bush. A process that should have taken no more than 4 to 6 weeks took 7 months! At one stage Kenneth would not return calls or correspond for two months.

One star is the lowest I could give but if there was an option of none, they would have got that.Although Kenneth Bush are not acting for us but they are acting for our vendor and our vendors sale, the service and response is diabolical. The delay by one of the directors (we believe her to be) is beyond disbelief. I would never use their conveyancing team or purchase another property by anyone else using them. Expect non responses and long delays which are completely unnecessary. Avoid at all costs..

One star is too many......this completely unprofessional company have messed me and my solicitor around for 5 months over the purchase of my property, only to advise their client to pull out 9 days AFTER completion was expected, with no justifiable reason for doing so.....”the fact that a lot of people are selling up already in the estate after buying so soon”.......clearly either an inexperienced or outdated company that doesn’t appreciate circumstances change.....people upsize and downsize, relationships change, people move for work, some people buy to sell, and some people have sold and re-bought on the same site! A real concern would be if the houses were not selling, but they are! Any other apparent reasons were known months ago, so if they were that much of a concern they could have advised their clients to pull out months ago and actually give me a fair chance of selling the property over the summer. All they have done is generate a large bill for my own solicitor, as well as for their own clients, and I’m left with a property that I could have sold twice over in the time taken, but now have to start the process again. You are an absolute disgrace of a company.

If you want your business the solicitor is looking after for you, best not choose Kenneth Bush. Slow to achieve the work , unresponsive to enquiries on progress, didn’t seem to think we needed to be kept informed.

I bought a property back in 2016 and used Kenneth Bush as my solicitor and I remortgaged the property for the first time last year. During the remortgaging process it transpired that the previous owners names had not been removed from the land registry (even though back in 2016 my solicitor had assured me that this was being dealt with). As the land registry document was wrong I was unable to remortgage my home. After contacting KB about the error it took 3 months for the problem to be rectified. This delay left me in a very difficult position, even more so as by the time the problem was resolved I was on statutory maternity pay and I was unable to prove my income with the new mortgage company. I would avoid using this company at all costs. I nearly lost my home as a result of their error and I made the decision to return to work earlier than planned after giving birth so that I could prove my income to a mortgage company.

Elton fought my corner whilst in proceedings with social services. On the last hearing, he sent a barrister to represent me in court and the barrister was brilliant. No nonsense attitude. Both Elton and the barrister were brilliant - we had a level playing field and spoke to each other with respect

I would not touch this company for conveyancing. They are utterly incompetent. I have worked in property finance for a number of years and have never experienced such a lack of understanding of the first time buy process ever. A recent case has taken 5 months to NOT go to completion. This is a 3 year old build on a new estate with over 300 houses, one of the queries was why are people selling their houses"? The obvious answer is because they are not using the incompetent Kenneth Bush for conveyancing!! The lack of expertise in this field is astonishing PLEASE AVOID USING THIS COMPANY"
