SLM Toyota (Lowestoft)

Having had an excellent experience at Norwich SLM. I was really angry and disappointed to hear that my parents who have been with SLM for over 10 years arranged an appointment with Gareth this week. The appointment was to discuss buying two new cars. When they turned up at arranged time to be told that they would have to wait, and wait they did - 45 + minutes later and no apology or other sales person willing to help they decided to leave. I have advised that they now arrange an appointment with the Norwich branch or go to another dealership entirely as online options are now so accessible.

The staff are very friendly but that’s as far as the good stuff goes. We came to buy a used vehicle, milage on the ad didn’t match the car, price in the window didn’t match the sheet in the car, issues with incorrect milage being input into finance agreement and issues with the vehicle that weren’t resolved for collection. A lot of wasted time and anticipation for a vehicle we had to walk away from. - Typos happen, but 30,000+ miles difference is a big typo!

Absolutely phenomenal, Matt and Tony done a fantastic job, they got me in on a days notice and fixed everything as it appeared during the service and now my little aygo feels brand new and I literally cried happy tears the whole way home.Thank you guys you’re great.(Betsy’s owner)

Yearly car service carried out on time with efficient service.

We went in on Monday 6th June to purchase a car which centimental to my other half. It belonged to her late mother. It was still up for sale when we went in and arranged everything. The next day we were very disappointed with slm lowestoft. We had phone call to say sorry it was sold to someone else but they blamed the bank holiday on not knowing it was sold even apparently someone put a deposit down on the Wednesday before the holiday. Which we think is ridiculous because if something is already reserved or sold it should have that on it straight away on the website. I put a deposit on on the Monday to hold it . Arranged everything to be told it was already . Very disappointed. As far we're concerned we held it because at the time it wasn't sold.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!! Took my car there for MOT & was ripped off big time for brake discs & pads which it didn't even need to get through MOT. Having been a loyal customer for years I was disguted to be treated like this, will never use them again for service or sales they are a disgrace to the Toyota brand.

Pleasant staff but only had 3 cars in the show room.

Advice given by phone when steering lock appeared jammed. Advice followed on remediation, which worked! Brilliant service. THANK YOU.
