Really helpful and highly professional. I took along at least half a dozen items of clothing that didn't fit properly - and one ball dress I thought it would be impossible to do anything about - I couldn't do it up over my ribcage, so it wasn't just a question of breathing in! Also various trousers that were a size too big, and another ball dress. Victoria the seamstress did a beautiful job on all of them, and at a very reasonable rate too. Am already recommending Village Brides to friends. Also, I notice they can arrange for the wide range of shoes that they sell to be dyed to match an outfit. Absolutely brilliant! Thank you, Ramsay, Michelle and Victoria. I'll be bringing more stuff to you. Really delighted.

Amazing !! 18 months ago I visited village brides for just a look and walked out having picked my beautiful wedding dress. Nearly 12 months ago Emma came on the morning of my wedding day to help me get ready. Last week I heard that a bride I knew was having trouble getting a dress for her wedding in a few weeks. I wholeheartedly recommended village brides and was delighted to hear today this bride has found the dress of her dreams at Village Brides. A bride who suffered the same anxieties as I, I'm not girly, I'm uncomfortable, I'm not sure what I wanted etc, etc .. Village brides are absolutely fantastic !!! Wow wow wow!The shop, Emma and Ramsey, the service, the whole package is fabulous!The dress I chose for my wedding was the first one I tried on in this shop. I had a feeling I had to try other shops but nothing matched up the dress I found in this shop AND the no pressure, relaxed professional atmosphere.I had many visits to and from the shop from just making sure the dress was THE one to going in and out changing my mind on shoes! The whole time Emma and Ramsey could not do enough to help and support me.Since buying my dress from this shop I have recommended several friends and they have also fed back to me glowing reports about the shop and its service.On my wedding day Emma came to put me into my dress, I really recommended this ladies! Having Emma there helped me relax and not worry that my dress was laced incorrecectly or was uncomfortable, as Emma and her wealth of experience had fitted me into it perfectly.The shop isn't your average shop, it's an amazing shop. There is no pressure, forceful sale tactics it's just calm and relaxed.I continue to recommend the shop to friends and I wish Village Brides of Long Compton all the best for the future!- little note, my dad used to have the butchers shop in the same shop that's now a bridal shop.. I purchased my wedding dress from the Cotswold Bridal Boutique in April, as an order in product. Emma and Grace were fantastic - I had absolutely no idea what I wanted and really struggled to feel comfortable in a wedding dress - but these ladies put me at ease! I tried on dresses in all different styles, with honest and upfront suggestions from them as to what looked good and what didn't (very much appreciated) and it was actually Emma who suggested a dress I'd already overlooked which I've now fallen in love with. They had to help me dress and undresses so many times they must have lost their minds, but remained so friendly, warm and kind throughout everything! They celebrated with me and my mum when we found 'the one' and took care of every single detail of the ordering process. Everything felt personal and so special, I felt like Emma was a friend (who happened to sell me my wedding dress) after the experience! Brilliant service and Fantastic team, I can't fault them! This was the best experience I could have hoped for. They explained to me who they are and how they operate, went through each step. There was no pressure what's so ever and both Ramsey and Emma were so lovely. The shop is clean and tidy and very well laid out. They know what they are doing. I went to see one other place after (this was my first shop) and it was pointless. I found the dress and service I wanted at Village Brides.
