Kim's Equestrian Riding School

After looking for a while for somewhere that would be able to teach myself and my daughter (age 8) together in a group lesson, we came across Kim's. She was extremely helpful from the outset and responded quickly and professionally. Group lessons are enjoyable and she gives everyone included individual attention. Safety is paramount, which was comforting to me with my daughter in tow, and I respect that she remains passionate about protecting her staff and herself with Covid restrictions in place.Kim is straight forward, cards on the table whilst professional and how fully booked and busy her school is is just a testament to how good lessons are here. She is firm in lessons, but fair, encouraging whilst also pushing you where you need to be pushed. I love how she includes younger riders in the set up (her 'pixies'), all of whom are friendly and lead beginners well. It's been a great thing for my daughter to aspire to! I can't recommend Kim highly enough!

This riding school is an amazing place to learn riding, the riding instructor is really nice she really helped me i really think this is a good place to learn and i would definitely go back there.

Kim was incredible she is just incredible, i rode on the horse Magnum and she was so beautiful Kim taught us to do sitting trots and rising trots that's to her I can actually do them now

Love the yard so much it's great for making friends and learning to ride. The instructor is incredible and teaches you everything. Would definitely recommend.

Great lessons and friendly team at the Riding school! My two children (5 and 8 years old) absolutely love it. We had no previous experience with horses at all and Kim could not have been more friendly and helpful with us. Highly recommend.

Love love love this place! Recommended by a friend for my daughter to progress her stable and horse management and riding skills - the best place for child to be! Kim has a no nonsense but supportive approach to her teaching - even in a group lesson you feel like you're in a 1-2-1.Lovely ponies that are loved by all and a fantastic Pixie" programme to teach and allow the kids to look after ponies on a weekly basis. It's a place for kids and adults alike! Fab holiday programmes including games

Absolutely brilliant riding school kim is fantastic my daughter has ADHD and is constantly wanting to move round and loses her train of thought very easily. While she is having her lesson she is like a different child and has a massive smile on her face the hole time her riding is coming along lovely. I would highly recommend Kim’s equestrian .

I’ve been riding here for about 3 months now and as soon as I got on the horse I knew I was in good hands. Kim the instructor is such an amazing women and she always gives me loads of tips. Even when there are a few people in a lesson it feels like a one on one. I’ve also got one of the best opportunities ever helping out by completing my bronze day. Even having a pony to look after now. Kim looks after everyone and everything in her care. My 9 year old daughter has been taking lessons at Kim’s for just under a year and loves every minute. Kim is an outstanding teacher who builds confidence in everyone she teaches; it is a joy to watch my daughter in her lessons and to see the enjoyment on her face. Having ridden myself I can see that the horses and stables are well kept and maintained and I would have no hesitation in recommending Kim’s.

Kim’s Equestrian is FANTASTIC!Superb facilities with wonderful horses to ride. Kim is a top class teacher and we’ve seen huge improvements in our daughter since coming.Lots of activities to do - ie lessons, hacking and pony days. We love this place - it’s amazing!Thank you Kim and staff!
