Poston Mill Touring & Holiday Home Park

Stayed for three nights in October using their 3 for 2 offerNice site well managed with a great pub / restaurant on site.You can’t fault the cleanliness of the amenity block and we understand it will soon be refurbished by the new owner.Hay on Wye is a great town to visit .We’ll be back.Only downside, nothing to do with the owners, is the disgusting toilet users who seem to exist everywhere. Clearly they don’t ever intend to leave it clean despite toilet brushes being available. Shame on you. You know who you are. Hate to think what your homes look like!I feel really sorry for the site staff who have to clean up after these filthy people.

Really nice park, staff were lovely and facilities were good. Only slight concern would be is the shower block not being that large and will get full quick in peak season. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely touring park. Beautiful maintained. The dog run was a bonus and The Mill Pub served lovely food.They only had one facilities block at the end of the park could have either done with one at the other end too or a more central block. Otherwise a lovely park.

Amazing caravan park. Everything spotless. showers not the ones you have to keep pushing on even little touches like radio playing while using facilities. Best place I've been to take fur babies a field to run them in even showers to wash them off and hair dryers to dry them. Plenty of poop bins. Children's play ground. tennis and badminton. Pitches are good size. Pub and restaurant on site idea to book a table great food sit in or takeaway. Will definitely be back in the new year.

This site is in a beautiful location and is a well kept. Staying for 6 nights it is very restful. After heavy rain, some puddles remain on site. Extensive upgrading work in progress so should be even better in2024. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful site with immaculate grounds and large fully serviced pitches. Great for dogs too as there is a large dog field where they can be off lead, a riverside walk and walks over fields from the site (some livestock). There’s a large pitch n putt, children’s play area and even a pub on site. Would definitely stay again - Morris Leisure parks are always highly maintained.

Excellent facilities, well maintained, with plenty to do on the park and in nearby towns - easily accessible from the bus stop right by the front entrance.With golf, tennis, and plenty of walking, as well as an on site pub/restaurant with games room, its hard to get bored here.Staff were very helpful without hovering. The site is clean and tidy.

We spent 5 nights at Poston Mills and have to say the site was perfect. It is closing in Jan'24 to improve it further but have to say it was already immaculate in my view. The dog field is one of the best I have visited, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great dog walks from site too and a 30-minute bus ride to Hay-on-Wye with the bus stops being right outside the entrance. The pub right next door serves great food. The 3-par golf course also on site is an added bonus and dogs can join you. Really everything you could want all in one place. Can't wait to return to see the improvements. Zac, Elaine & Remy

Morris Leisure always give you the confidence of a great place to stay. Here we had a serviced pitch (first time) which made things easy. The staff were brilliant, the facilities clean and functional. Plenty of space to walk. We walked the entire perimeter of the park which is nearly 3km. A large field for children to play football, play park and a wonderful 9 hole pitch and putt which we used a number of times, great fun. We would definitely recommend the site. Places we visited (apart from local walks) Hereford Cathedral, Black and White museum, Cider museum. Hay on Wye, the castle whose cafe serves the best scones I think I have ever had. Then The Weir garden and Brobury House and Gardens. A lovely place to stay.
