We enjoyed a lovely family lunch. The food was delicious and the service was good and friendly. The only thing was it was quite slow with the food arriving from ordering.

Just came out of the Queens head and I must say how disappointed we all were. After a recommendation we booked for a family meal of 11.We walked in and the food offered to others looked promising .After an hours wait we final got a drink ordered. Then over an hour and a half later our food came or what we could see of it,who one earth puts a single dwarf been on someone's plate. They clearly had run out of food .We had to get our own cutlery and clear the table of our glasses. You were surround by tables that needed clearing that were not cleared for 2 hours. We did not stay for dessert and we will not be going there again.Signed A very disappointed customer.

Stopped here for a drink but wished we had booked a table for food which looked excellent. Staff very friendly and efficient. Will go again when next in the area.

Came here totally off the cuff and what a find! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were just on the verge of late for lunch but they kindly kept the kitchen open for us. The garden looked lovely but was too hot to sit outside at the time. Definitely recommend.

It’s a lovely setting and great place for a Friday evening drink. Food however is a little disappointing. We ordered a meze. £15. It’s packed out with tomato’s and cucumber and a little low on actual meze ingredients. Needs more content and more dips for the bread to justify £15

Lovely pub/restaurant serving good quality food and drink. New social distancing rules being applied excellently. Staff friendly, attentive and professional.Average prices for food and drinks.Theres art on the walls which is available to buy.As the only pub in the village it can get a little busy on a summer's afternoon and weekend.

Popped into this lovely pub on our way home from Hastings. What a fantastic place to relax in. And love the Geese on the green outside. Plus the one who decided to sit in a small puddle by the car park.

Visited here on Sunday 14th May, early afternoon with three good friends. We were greeted with a warm welcome and as we ordered our drinks I could see the food orders coming out and just knew the food was going to be good. It was, two of us had the veggie burger and chips, one had king prawns and one had lamb. All were beautifully presented and served piping hot, delicious, we all thoroughly enjoyed, sitting outside in the sunshine and lovely garden. All the staff were really pleasant, I had the opportunity to say thank you to one of the chefs whilst I was in the bar area. All in all, a great experience which I will be looking to repeat during the summer. Highly recommend.
