Southampton White Taxi Excursions

I have used this service several times for the last 8 years in junction with Southampton related cruise departures/arrivals. All have been prebooked online. I have never had a delay or less than commendable experience.Regarding 1star post the client should certainly have asked the fee being charged to Winchester. Taxi fees do run higher in the UK than many places. I've never felt I was taken advantage of by Lance Bradley.

Lance drove the four us from Southampton to London for a very fair price. It was only about $20 more than what we'd have paid by train and way more convenient since we didn't have to carry heavy pieces of luggage. He was very friendly and informative throughout the trip. He even included a pit stop so we could use the bathroom and get some snacks. If you want someone that is going to make you feel at home, then we definitely recommend him all the way.

Superb service. Very professional, punctual and completely dedicated to making your excursion the best. Used them for other trips and will use them again in the future. Best car service in Southampton - bar none!!

We had a great excursion to Stonehenge with Dave. We got there before all of the tour busses, so we could see the Stones before the masse came.It was so convinient that Dave was waiting for us at the cruise port arrival holding a sign - and then we could leave the sights exactly when we wanted. And the tour was less expensive than All other options.Dave was kind, helpfull and told us a lot of interesting stuff about stonehenge and the UK. So he might not be a certified guide, but we were very happy with all of the info given, which was not the kind of knowlwdge, you get from a guidebook - but from a local in the know. Fully recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful day with Southampton White Taxi excursions. Our fabulous driver, Dave, collected us at the cruise terminal in Southhampton, on time and in an immaculately clean and comfortable car. Dave gave us an absolutely glorious day, discovering the beautiful area. Dave asked us what I particularly wanted to experience and he listened and delivered the perfect day. We saw the ponies in the New Forest, and the beautiful surrounding villages. We wen to Salisbury and saw and visited the Cathedral. We weren’t rushed at all and had the time we wanted in each place. Dave recommended an excellent pub for lunch as well. He went above and beyond to make our day special. It was the best day of our holiday and we are so grateful! We wanted to book excursion while in port of Southampton with cruise ship. Asked to arrange a tour to Windsor thru the e-mail address given on the homepage. Does not reply to e-mails ... so does not seem very reliable.

Not a great experience.The driver was pleasant enough but a little bullish in some parts of his driving.I had noticed the £1 fee extra for cruise terminal passengers, which I assumed might be included in the initial fee which started at £3.60.Before heading away I got a taxi not too far away from the terminal and the starting fare was around £2.60.The journey was not long, no more than 10 minutes the way the driver blitzed round.I was shocked when suddenly without warning the price jumped from around £7.60 to nearly £11.I queried this with the driver and he seemed to be pretty defensive, which put me off. He didn't seem to come out with a straight answer.He then said about the £1 cruise fee, which seemed to be added on top. Then he said there are loads of different tarrifs and addons which he did not elaborate on. He said for example, there's an early morning rate.This was 8.30 in the morning.The driver seemed to be in a rush, and although I was not travelling alone and had not overseen the luggage being emptied from his boot, I accept that it's not entirely his fault. Though he did rush off with one of our suitcases still in the car.Fortunately I was able to stop him before he drove off too far.Overall I just wasn't happy with the attitude and inability to coherently explain why the price had suddenly jumped up from what the meter was saying. I had a much better experience with radio taxis, which I would have preferred if they had been available at the time.

We used SWTE to taxi to and from Southampton. Our driver, Dave, was amazing punctual on both pick-ups. Professional, polite and excellent driver. Car was exceptionally clean with bottled water. Smooth ride, highly recommended. Outstanding.

Driver met us in the hotel lobby at appointed time. Steve was our driver and was very informative and friendly. Would highly recommend this company and driver to anyone.

We booked Dave and his service for an individual trip to Stonehenge and Salisbury and loved it. The service is friendly and professional. The agreements in advance were uncomplicated and the process was followed as planned. We felt very comfortable. Thank you Dave! We recommend.
