The Kedleston Country House

We went today for a celebration breakfast. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Good quality produce, the cooked breakfast was amazing. They accommodated food allergies which is always a bonus. Space was a little tight but there were around 26 adults including a handful of children. The building itself is tastefully decorated. Parking was no issue. Staff were polite and helpful.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at the beautiful Kedleston Country House, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The experience was nothing short of incredible, and we can't thank the staff enough for making our day so memorable.From the moment we booked our exclusive hire of the venue, we knew we were in good hands. Sarita, our point of contact, was an absolute superstar - always on hand to answer any questions we had, and providing invaluable advice to ensure everything ran smoothly.The Kedleston Room provided the perfect setting for us to get ready, and we were impressed with the spaciousness and comfort of the rooms. The intimacy of the venue, coupled with the exclusivity of our hire, created a warm and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for our special day.On the day itself, the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. From organising the cake cutting to helping us light sparklers for our photos, their attention to detail was faultless. The food was exceptional, and we received numerous compliments from our guests on the quality and presentation of the dishes. The drinks were equally impressive, and everyone had a great time.Overall, we are so grateful to everyone who played a part in making our day so special. We would highly recommend Kedleston Country House to anyone looking for a stunning venue with impeccable service. Thank you again for everything!

We booked The Kedleston Country House for our wedding in April. Our special day was perfect from start to finish. Sarita was professional and calm from the moment we met her and correspondence was great.The day ran smoothly, the staff were amazing and the food was beautiful. Our guests said the food was the best they’d had at a wedding. To top it off the sun was shining and we got to enjoy the garden too.The venue itself is gorgeous and it looks stunning in our professional photos.Thanks again!

We had a wonderful stay and meal at Kedleston Country House. Housed in such a beautiful old building, the interior is bright and modern but isn't out of place with the exterior of the building. The food in the restaurant was really good, service was very relaxed at dinner allowing us to enjoy the experience. The breakfast was amazing, so plentiful. We booked the Kedleston suite as a treat, which was beautiful and well worth the money. The roll top bath I really liked as we only have a shower at home!As for Lee and the rest of the team, we couldn't fault anyone! We were made to feel like we were staying with family. If you want to give yourself real treat visit this wonderful place. It won't be long before we visit again!Thank you all.

Visited last night for a Xmas party meal and disco. The surrounding inside and outside are awesome. The atmosphere was amazing. Bar service was a little slow due very one arriving at once but the prices are very reasonable. The main thing that let our party of 14 down was the meal itself. The service and intervals between courses was just right but the plates and meal were stone cold. The starters and desserts portions were good but the main meal was very small. It was such a shame as this evening could have been one to remember but for the wrong reasons.

Stayed here with a friend last night, and i can't praise the place or the staff highly enough! The service and stay was impeccable. The food was well presented and tasted lovely, praise to the chef!As for the staff, Lee and the 2 female staff members who served us (apologies for not knowing your names) couldn't have been more polite, helpful and courteous and are all perfect representative's of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, clean and very tasteful and we had a lovely nights stay.All in all, i would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great room, staff, drinks and dinner. I would definitely look this place up first if I'm staying on the area again. Well done to you all, thankyouCarl

Today and after a number of years, we returned for a Sunday roast. To be honest, we weren't expecting anything great but Wow, what a nice surprise! My wife had roast pork and I had roast beef - both were fabulous and served with a tray of very tasty vegetables and gravy. The desserts were very good too, and everything was served quickly (but not too quickly), politely and with a smile. Absolutely excellent - there's no doubt we'll be back very soon.08/10/23: We came back to find the autumn meal was good, but not quite as good as our previous visit in August.

We recently had our wedding at Kedleston and we really cannot express enough how seamless the whole process was. Sarita and the whole team, housekeeping, bar staff, kitchen and management were so helpful, ready to answer any questions, they responded quickly to emails and had a list of other suppliers to help in other areas of planning. We stayed the evening before the wedding and were treated so well. Every member of staff were wonderful to us and our guests. The number of compliments people passed on to us about the food on the actual day, both for the main meal and evening was amazing but true. The photos taken both inside and outside were stunning. Throughout the evening we had more people asking if they could join us for breakfast the next morning, we'd like to think it was to see us but I think they were more excited about the full English they were going to get! Truly the number of compliments we have had on how relaxed and how the day flowed so perfectly were really a testament to the whole team and we really cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful day for us and our friends and family.

We had our Wedding here at Kedleston in May 2023 and the day was nothing short of perfect. Sarita was amazing, handling all our wedding plans from the moment we met up until / on the day.All the staff were friendly and helpful, a special mention to Lee who went the extra mile and was just so lovely. The venue is amazing, the surroundings are beautiful, the food delicious! We couldn't have wished for a better day, we want to do it all over again! Mr & Mrs Porter x
