For 2 weeks' running, I have visited this store an on each occasion the price charged at the till did not reflect the prices on the shelves or that advertised in the weekly magazine: on the 14th of October 2023, there were no staff to be seen on the shop floor. When this store first open, you would see numerous staff stacking shelves; if you have a query, you have to join the queue at the till to raise your query.

Lidl, our local grocery haven, stands out as a reliable source for all things culinary. The fruit and vegetable section is particularly impressive, boasting a colorful assortment that attests to quality and freshness. The selection extends beyond groceries to include household items and even a bakery, treating customers to freshly baked goods. The staff is friendly and approachable, enhancing the overall shopping experience. Lidl strikes a balance between convenience and quality, making it a go-to destination for all our daily needs.

Okay, store not bad products available.It does fail on self-service checkouts, though, great big queue, and half of them not working. What was the point in installing so many if you are not going to use all of them all the time?

All self-service tills are down.Start chatting away on the shopfloor.Only one till open with 15 people queueing up. Going at snail pace..Bear in mind, this is first thing in the morning when people are trying to buy the goods and get to work quickly.Ask one of the chatting staff members on the shopfloor to open another till.To which they responded that they are busy I’m not not ready to open the other till.Sheer laziness and incompetence absolutely disgusted at the attitude of the staff member, I spoke to a lady.If you could call her a lady.

Cheapest stores in comparison to other Tesco just behind it. Have been doing most of the groceries shopping from here since I moved to Luton. Not much variety in veggies but of course have got what I needed. And good service and staffs

The prices for the food and drinks are reasonable. However I noticed the price for tinned tomatoes is not accurate, claiming they are 35p when they are in fact 49p. About 10 of the tills are out of order!Also there is only one guy working on the self service tills, no other tills are open. He is of average height slim and with a beard. He appears to have a bad attitude and is surly in behaviour. He even pushed into me when serving others and didn't apologise. He seems overworked and there are no other tills open.Come on lidl, you can do better than this!

Difficult to see the prices of some items.Some ever day items such baked beans not available in smaller size tins. Only multi packs of 4 large tins. Not suitable for one person.

Very nice place so beautiful culture and good people I like it

Sometimes I like to shop at Lidl especially the one in The Mall. You’ll find the prices are much better than the other supermarkets. Not all items can be compared because many of the products aren’t big brands. I noticed that the packaging are much similar and cost around the same. They have self checkout which is very helpful if you’re buying less items and don’t want to stand in the long queues. Many of the staff are helpful.
