Terrible after sales care. Lied to about fixing a fault and then had to pay to get it fixed elsewhere despite having told them exactly what the problem was and out diagnosis was correct. Asked several times for the business owner to contact me to discuss the issue and emailed complaints email but just been ignored.

TL;DR - initially fine service, terrible and possibly negligent service after purchase.Although the service when buying our car went smoothly, it went downhill soon after purchasing it. Almost a year ago, we bought a car which was over 10 years old but had very low milage. Only a few weeks after purchasing and driving away our car an issue with the throttle and the internal computer arose. They took it back to diagnose and fix it, as it was luckily under their 3 month guarantee but not even 2 months later the same thing happened. Again, they took it in to diagnose and fix the problem. For a time it worked fine but recently the same problem happened again and this time, we took it to a service centre, which belongs to the company of the model of car.As it turns out there was significant damage to the throttle body and also the car's battery was the incorrect size of voltage. Whether Runnymede inserted the incorrect battery or the previous owner did, I'm not sure but the lack of care taken over the assessment of the car both before we purchased it and the 2 times they took it back to diagnose the problem demonstrates either their lack of expertise or intention to sell faulty products.Further to this, when trying to contact Runnymede, to request documents from them about what they diagnosed and how they fixed it, the person on the front desk was ineffective and rude. Telling us they would do something but never did causing us to call back to chase and, unfortunately, shouting at them for being so rude and unhelpful.Additionally, when mistaking a different car dealership with a similar name, they informed us that they constantly receive complaints about Runnymede Motor Company (Datchet site) and advised us to never buy a car from them.So this review is a warning: don't buy a car from them.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. If I could give 0 stars I would. This company has been nothing but trouble, sold a broken car, refused to let me return it and when I took it to be looked at they refused to pay that bill. They have threatened me and advised I have no rights to return the vehicle even after going down a legal route. They are rude and disrespectful and do not care about the state of their cars. Avoid them!!

Poor, and untrustworthy! Please avoid as you’ll be trying so hard to get your money back! They really don’t care about you, only care about selling the car and then will ignore you as much as possible and when you keep calling them they will say you’re very demanding as you won’t you’re money back and been trying for over a month! All because the sold me a Broken car that requires a new gearbox.

My partner and me bought a VW golf (automatic) at this dealership in February this year. Ever since we got a lot of issues with this car and the dealership did nothing to help us (even though it was mechanical issues which were not caused by us). The engine oil was leaking a couple of months after purchase, the tires were not intact and when using the car brakes the car was vibrating a lot. The costs fixing all that were +£2K I cannot believe that the dealership sold us a car that was not safe at all and did nothing about it. Avoid at all costs, I don’t want anyone experiencing what we experienced. It may seem a good deal in the beginning but please save yourself the stress and the additional costs after purchasing.

Be very careful when purchasing from this garage. We was given a 1yr warranty, unfortunately this was on the understanding that the car had just been serviced, as I was told by the person selling me the car, when it was actually serviced 3months before, so now we have a problem with the ignition system, the warranty is no good. With a Volkswagen it needs servicing yearly, so this means it’s not covered.When speaking to the after sales team they have advised that there is nothing they will do to help. I do feel that I was mis sold the warranty

I've bought many cars over the years and this was the first time I wasn't harassed or given a lot of sales jargon. Ibby and his colleague were fantastic. Very relaxed, not pushy at all and a pleasure to do business with.Excellent service.

A great experience from start to finish. Riz and everyone at Runnymede Motors were extremely friendly and helpful. We were given plenty of time to view the vehicle inside and out alone, with no hard sale unlike other garages which we really appreciated. Garage seemed very professional and lots of quality cars which were all very clean. Very happy with our vehicle purchased here and would recommend. Thank you!

Impeccable service received from the team while purchasing a Fiat 500 for my partner. The quality of service received outweighs that experienced at Audi and Mercedes dealerships. They were happy to answer any questions, not pushy, very knowledgeable and welcoming. Will definitely recommend and consider for future car buying needs!
