Short but very nice ferry trip from Isle of Skye to Isle of Raasay. We just parked the car in the free parking area and entered the ferry. Tickets can be bought on the ferry. Helpful and friendly staff on the ferry. Even german speaking :-).It's a 5-10 minutes walk to the distillery or Raasay house after getting to the island

Be careful! Fraudulent amateur ferry company. They travel with junk, old, dilapidated ships that drown on the way. Because of them, we almost missed our accommodation and had to walk across the island with our heavy suitcases. After waiting for 3.5 hours (!!!), they announced that sorry

A brief but lovely crossing with views back to Skye and over to Rassay. Not possible to book in advance so arrive a little early and enjoy the lovely coffee shop next to the Skype slipway.

Simple and straightforward process for getting on and off the ferry. Ferry can take up to approximately 30 cars so will generally be plenty of space. Ticket offices are closed so purchase tickets onboard
