My mum had a terrible fall at her flat which left her needing a hip replacement and pain relief for her dislocated shoulderAfter a few weeks in the first hospital and subsequent stays in two more hospitals she was given the opportunity to go to the Highgate Care homeMy mum lost the will to live and gave up on attempting to walkSince being at the care home with the support of the amazing staff she has progressed so much in such a little timeShe has started walking with a frame and has started attending the music therapy group sessionsI cannot thank them enoughShe has a new will to live and carry on

I arrived as a resident afew days ago. This is a beautiful place with a lovely garden and easy access for wheelchairs. The food is good and healthy. The staff is dedicated. I am more than satisfied.

I have been working at this carehome as an external professional since 2006. I am a physio. I started as a shy, less confident person. Working here, I have really made good friends and improved my career in many waysDuring my experience, I have met many interesting residents as my patients. There is a nice little Gym in the care home for therapy sessions. Assessments are made professionally.Its a nice carehome with staff who are very compassionate, Extremely ambient atmosphere. Most residents who come as respite basis tend to come again as they get so attached with staff's compassion and care
