The Vet Whetstone

My King Charles Cav has been coming to this vet since he was 10 weeks old and they gave him his first jabs. I highly recommend them!!Twice now I've had emergency" situations and they've fitted me in within the hour.Most recently he was neutered and I can't rave enough about the measured advice James gave me

I thought that they were a good vets, but it turns out that they are the same as many other vets, just out for your money. I got a prescription from them last year for a years supply of flea and worming treatment for our dog, which was good, but when I asked them for a prescription this July for a years supply of flea and worming treatment I was told by the manager that there policy had changed from just under a year ago, to only give prescriptions for 6 months worth. When I asked to speak with the owner he told me that it has always been there policy of 6 months for prescriptions? So who's lying the manager or the owner, as they both told me different, and to make it worse the owner then proceeded to tell me that the vet that had given me the prescription for a years supply no longer works for him so it's not his responsibility as they are not there anymore. Sorry but as an owner you are responsible for all your staff present or previous.All that they wanted to do was try to put me on a monthly subscription with them so I get all my flea and worming treatment that way, just to get more money from you.I have found another vets surgery that do give prescriptions for a years supply and the prescription charges were £8 less per prescription, big difference, more importantly they care about your pet more than just MONEY.

Albert and Jose have been looking after my standard poodles for many years and together they provide a friendly personal atmosphere combined with highly knowledgeable expertise when your dog needs it.In short they care about your pets, consider your feelings and are well able to do so. The flea and worming treatment has gone up in price so much!! Spend £80 on medicine I could have bought online for £30. Absolute rip off and won’t be buying again. What’s the reason for such a high price?!

Everyone at The Vets Whetstone is fantastic. They really look after my dog and put his needs first. Very honest and helpful staff who accommodate your every need. I highly recommend them.

we have been with Albert and team for many years now and have always had great care for our dogs and cats. Most recently a very dramatic situation resulting from Milo the miniature schnauzer eating an acorn. This meant emergency surgery on a very poorly dog. Sam and the team were amazing! From the surgery and after care to looking after a very upset Mum and Dad. We are forever grateful and highly recommend the team for their life saving super powers. Thank you!
